Might as well introduce some dragons and shit and make it high fantasy at that point

nice social programming you got going on there

Boring intro sequence with characters in a car trying to pretend to be normal

I don't know how else to describe this technique but so many movies and especially TV shows do this and it's soo annoying. The more they try to make it seem natural the less natural it is. It always has the same fake argueness, they way they "semi-argue" in the car

Cloverfield Paradox is the latest example. Starts this way, felt dishonest as fuck, turned it off within 4 minutes.

I noticed the same shit in BvS, zooming in as if this were a found footage film, it's ugly.

>directed by zack snyder

>joseph gordon levitt is starring
>woman character is written as strong without actually being strong (she wins strawman arguments and all the men who go against here are incompetent)

They did that all the time in BSG. youtu.be/pI2jS0y_GcY?t=207
I noticed they did it a few times in MoS.

A hand?

Reminds me of National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation but the trope's done in a hilarious way.

I thought my gf's hands were dirty but I guess that is just how black people's hands look.
