Baneposting is probably the most harmless and pure fun meme to ever come from here. There's no malice behind it, no target, no hate. We come here, post pictures from the plane scene, laugh and then come back the next day to do it again.

I wouldn't say it's the antithesis to Sup Forumsposting, because it's just so utterly disconnected to everything else on Sup Forums. It's literally funny because the scene is ridiculous, there's really not much else to it. Perhaps that's the lasting appeal.
