Absolutely

>edgy Star Trek
Don't the producers know that we watch BSG for that type of thing? ST is supposed to be comfy but with the occasional bite and not the equivalent of a Goth teen shouting their half-formed opinions at you for 15 episodes

now i need to fuck gaybois in jockstraps thanks Sup Forums

Is there nothing left in the world for me to like?

I just KNEW they would make her a dike

youtube.com/watch?v=fjJN08uqt70

by way of comparison.

How far the show has fallen.

None of it is necessary.
They star wars'd star trek and now its fucked.
We're going to need new stories.

>waahhhh I want my scifi to be sexless
Disney is there for you

I know there is a lot of goofy shit all over the place in all iterations of star trek, but it used to have dignity.

This isn't some kind of artistic sensuality, it's degenerate imagery.

el gobolino sexualizer

>not the equivalent of a Goth teen shouting their half-formed opinions at you for 15 episodes
everything is like this now

what the hell happened?
last 10 -15 years culture just seems to have gotten whinier

sexless =/= space shrek bisexual threesome

Stargate SG1/Farscape/B5 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Star Trek >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Star Wars

Even Janeway's speech at the end of "Alliances" about Federation principles was so much better than STD.

you're being way to harsh on star trek. Is any series of it transcendent? No..not really, but it has a cozy set of ideals and its fans don't take it way to seriously like star wars.

It should be appreciated simply for getting normalfags to watch sci-fi.

single mom + only child = entitled snowflake

Mirror Kira literally had a personal bisexual harem in DS9

Based oldfag

>webm or gtfo

So is this happening or not?

The planet is painted as a shithole. There's no celebrating degenerate imagery.
The first episode of Star Trek had green strippers. Stop bitching.

I've been searching for 20 minutes about info on this image from the last episode of STD.

Is this photo fake? It looks like twp people (male/male) or female/female fucking... the top with a strapon or g string.... what is the context here and what is going on.

I'm not sure this scene really happens. I think OP just named the image cleverly as to throw us off. Something like pic in OPs post never happened.

*with std

hot take bro

more and more people out there do what they like while salty old neocon faggots like yourself die out.
its just the end times for your people like you user, so this level of desperate damage control is understandable.

They're just dancers, there's no fucking

can someone explain who the azn lady is?? what is the context of this

only way they could have women like that is if a guy was there with them with a thong, lol

She's a mass murderer cannibal psycho that you're supposed to root for because she's a sassy woman of color

Everyone knows that women, old on top of it, love to watch strippers dancing at the club. Isn't that a giveway that they gender swapped this character after writing the story?

enjoy your aids

She's the evil mirror universe counterpart of a character who was killed earlier in the series. They're undercover on the Klingon homeworld.

sweet cringing jesus i bet you are popular

Yeah, evil bisexual mirror universe copies of characters is unheard of

they have human women with thongs on the klingon homeworld?

>It's our season finale, what should we do, maybe show the klingons fucking up the federation and advancing on Earth to build some tension?

>No, let us have Tilly get baked and pass out, and have an old asian who can't act partake in an orgy

Nothing he said is wrong, that is literally who she is. Shes basically space hitler and the "main" character saves her because she couldn't save her universes version. Of course the first thing she wants to do in our universe is blow up a whole planet of people.

what the fuck am I looking at

They're not human.

Orions.

They're Orion. The lighting makes it hard to see their green skin.

star trek used to be a show the family could watch

WELCOME TO 2018

This. TOS is comfy as fuck.

Then why is there a naked male too? Obviously as another user pointed, you can't have naked women unless there is a man in between IN THIS nu-trek. But trekkies are fags, they let JJ rape the franchise and still give him a pass, and now I heard there is a season 2 of this drivel.

There was nothing I liked more than watching TOS early in the morning as I got ready to catch the bus. Really brightened my spirits.

>cannibal

She's never shown eating human.

> you're supposed to root for because she's a sassy woman of color

Must have watched a different show to me because she was never presented as anything else other than immoral as shit in the one I saw and existed purely as a story device about whether the Federation should compromise it's values for it's survival.

>mfw the jews got to Star Trek as well

>Then why is there a naked male too?

Why not? It's a fucking Space Opium Den in the slums of Space Russia.

>got to

>nothing he said is wrong

>you're supposed to root for because she's a sassy woman of color

ahahaAHAHAHA

I honestly can't fathom how people can watch this series

his show is alright, more than a few episodes were complete duds though

Klingon armadas aren't cheap user, all the spehs battle money went into the first two episodes.

With their eyes. XD

I enjoyed it, wasn't blown away by it but it was watchable and hopefully it'll improve like a lot of other Treks have. Better than TNG season 1.

>Of course the first thing she wants to do in our universe is blow up a whole planet of people.

Those wacky Terrans.

It's a shame they've killed Lorca, easily my favourite character, I was hoping they'd keep him around as an evil foil for the crew.

Yeah there's misses, still looking forward to season 2 though. I just needed something that captured the spirit of Trek.

>Gene Roddenberry's Star Trek

>Lorca
>dead

He fell into the core of a machine that connects to all universes. He ended up in our universe after a simple transporter malfunction. Do you honestly think hes dead? Hes going to show up next season with some Iron Man arc reactor in his chest where evil Philippa stabbed him and be twirling his mustache again.

> it'll improve like a lot of other Treks have

That's one of the most bullshit arguments that surround this series.
We no longer live in the 80s/90s where you could just crank out shitty seasons while still developing a series that's already on air because people eventually have to watch whatever their tv stations will provide. 30 years later a series has to deliver right when it premieres.

>Do you honestly think hes dead?

I mean, he was stabbed through the chest and then kicked into something apparantly capable of disintegrating a shielded starship, but yeah, this is Trek so if they want him back they can spehs magic him back.

But I was hoping he'd stay as a member of the crew rather than a recuring villian which is the only way I could see him coming back now. It's have been cool to have a trigger happy Terran as chief of security or something to replace their Not!Klingon.

>We no longer live in the 80s/90s where you could just crank out shitty seasons while still developing a series that's already on air

Well it's already got a second season so yeah, it will have a chance to improve. It's 'good enough' in that it was a commercial success, I'd like to see it reach more towards some of the heights that Trek has achieved though.

They can still bring him back since the original universe Lorca is unaccounted for and apparently "dead" in a prior incident.

It's easy to simply bring that Lorca back, but I think they hired the actor just to bring some sort of legitimacy to the project and he's out after one season. Sort of how Sean Bean was in GoT for only one season

There just isn't a point to bringing him back, especially real universe Lorca. Like where's the drama in the generic nice guy version of him showing up?

This really. The admiral basically made the prime Lorca out to be yet another cookie-cutter Starfleet captain.

Murderous Terran or nuffin plz.

> I think they hired the actor just to bring some sort of legitimacy to the project and he's out after one season

Yeah, he did strike me as the Big Name they were pinning things on a bit prior to release. It's a shame because he was a really interesting character and having a mirror universe captain in charge of a Starfleet vessel is a really interesting idea and a good way to generate conflict without breaking Roddenberry's 'Everyone in Starfleet is Nice with a capital N' rule.

Isaacs is always fun to watch too.

HAHAHAHA FUCKING REKT HIM SO HARD

imagine the smell

>its just the end times for your people
This is the type of shit old men don't shut up about since antiquity. Your post must be ironic.

Wait what? This is really Star Trek? Dafuq?
I didn't watch the new show yet

The fucking happens later with the evil philippa actually, but it's implied.

shit thread

How else are you supposed to know this is a mature series for a mature audience?
