anything by refn
Uh... Lost River?

Why does Dunkey keep saying there's a sequel to this?
...
el demonio..
Refn himself would fail that test.
does refn browse Sup Forums? the mom actress in ogf said cumdumpster too
The word cumdumpster existed long before Sup Forums.
I think Lost River is highly underrated. Is it blow your shorts of amazing and one of the greatest films ever made? No. But when you compare it to other actors that directed a film (Gibson, Favreau, Clooney, Affleck, Eastwood), it was refreshing to see an American actor/director make an unconventional film.
>an American actor/director
Ryan Gosling is Canadian. And while I'm at it, Mel Gibson is Australian and Jon Favreau is French.
Dude blue and red am I bava or argento yet
Kys refn you colorblind hack
Shit, my bad. I was thinking American as they are associated with American film.
...
That's fine. It's also interesting to note that the non-American ones are all the best filmmakers of the bunch. American actors really have no idea what they're doing.
Lol this movie is a retard filter. If you like it you are a complete fucking retard.
The second half of Full Metal Jacket
Eastwood is the best director on his list though
This was great. I was really surprised that he directed War Machine which was pretty mediocre.
Seventh seal. If you can't enjoy that film, it's too late for you. It's easy to watch so people really shouldn't have a problem with it. That's the cutoff for me
by "pleb filter" do we mean if they like it they're a pleb, or that they're pleb-resistant?
how about you go back to where you belong
That's not a pleb filter.
Won a fight?
>jannies deleting that "go back to r3ddit" posts in every thread but allow discussion threads still
I don't see a problem with that.
if you have to ask...
>Asks if he's won a fight
>He proves he has by winning a fight in the next scene
Refn is a genius.
This!
a bunch of nigger hating roasties /ourgals/
Just stop responding to him.

Man Pattinson has been in a lot I haven't heard of. I saw him in Good Time and Lost City of Z recently and thought he was great in both of those. He seems to be a very underrated actor. Any other recommendations?
>the second half
This movie has three parts, amigo.
You can divide a movie many different ways jerkface.
not really
t. driveposter
The Childhood of a Leader, really underrated film.
>the kid and Dunston makes a giant mess in their hotel room
>the bellhop walks in, and is completely astonished
>Look at this! It's like a plane hit the building
>camera zooms in on a calendar open at September
What did they mean by this?
...
>movie called Only God Forgives
>Ryan Gosling is the only one to forgive his brother's killer
MUH DICK
>movie is called Only God Forgives
>throughout the movie God just walks around brutally killing anyone who even remotely violates the law
Where's the forgiveness?
New Mummy reboot.
Roots to classic (mostly Boris Karloff) ones, with a twist, so Brendan pleb couldn't accept that.
What, specifically, is the connection to the classic films?
>movie is called Only God Forgives
>throughout the movie God just walks around brutally killing anyone who even remotely violates the law
fucking brainlett
the entire movie is written around the concept that the chink with the sword is god
and only he can forgive you
but you must repent.
he only kills those who do not admit that they are criminals.
that is why he only cuts off gossies arms off even though he ordered and was an accomplish on murder
He just tried to ape Refn. Pretty good flick, but nothing more
>throughout the movie God just walks around brutally killing anyone who even remotely violates the law
He forgave literally his second "victim"
You could argue he also forgave Billy since Billy wanted to die
Sorry I quoted you wrongly
Not "connection" but roots and similarities.
1. Karloff one. Quote at the beginning (Death is but doorway...) Mummy trying to seduce hero (Karloff mummy tried to seduce Helen) and knife ritual.
2. Takes place in England, like 1959 Hammer Films "Mummy" reboot.
3. Female mummy. "Blood from Mummy's Tomb" from 1973 and Bram Stoker (you know, Dracula guy) novel "Jewel of Seven Stars" from 1903 also had female mummy, trying to seduce a guy.
...
whole main story is refreshing 1932 classic.
also as said.
Brendan movie was just cool Indiana Jones with mummy. The reduced mummy's romance plot to kidnapping that girl and forcing Brendan to save her.
original Mummy was a supenatural gothic romance, with monster in background
new movie is plebfilter
Thanks for the information, that's actually pretty interesting and makes me see the 2017 Mummy in a new light. I didn't think it was all that great (and don't get me wrong, I've actually never seen any of the Brendan Fraser ones so I don't have that as baggage) but it's interesting to see that they tried to be more faithful to the older ones. I'll have to check those out.
>tfw you feel like pleb knowing only Brendan mummy
Didn't know about this either.
Glad to see that. The movie doesn't deserve all that bashing it got. It's not perfect, but trashing it for doing something different way than popular Brendan one is just unfair.
How many of these fucking posters is Gosling going to be on until he's satisfied?
>YMCA
The Last 30 mins of No Country.
Anybody got a download for this movie? Preferably on mega.
rutracker, faggot

The only genuine pleb filters in this Sup Forums thread
OBSESSED
That movie definitely went in a different direction from what I was expecting. I was a bit confused but when he had a conversation with the old guy and I looked at the time left in the movie I realized it wasn't going to end like I thought I would and proceeded to enjoy the rest.
no
...
>trying to find some line they said about the "goyim"
>it's been completely scrubbed from the internet
>even in the script from the film, in the exact place the line should be, the word goyim is not there
What's going on?
