Movie reboot when
you shut your frakking whore mouth
>no sci fi will ever be as good as season 1 and 2
Allegedly there's been a BSG movie in the works for years. There's been little to no information about the project so I can't form any kind of opinion. Considering where the 2004 series went I honestly don't know where they'd go with the story.
>mfw the BSG soundtrack is my most played album and has assumed a semi-religious significance in my life
I can't be the only one.
Would you?
Mr. Ed put on a few pounds, good for him.
Never forget
LAUNCH THE LITTLE WWII SPACE PLANES
Caprica was too good for this world. Though I admit it was a little slow.
Felix did nothing wrong.
With double protection
Caprica was a mess. It completely failed to deliver on its premise.
We were supposed to see the creation of the Cylons, their mass production and their integration into all the different facts of colonial life. Then their attaining sentience and the subsequent rebellion which led into the 1st Cylon war.
Instead what we got was theological existentialism, family drama and some gangster bullshit. I would have given it a second season but I also would've slapped Ron Moore upside his head and said "Stop doing human interest and start building fucking Cylons!"
You posted the perfect music response I had in mind, are you me user?
And you're right user, BSG's music was some of the first that struck me in that way, to really get through to me.
As I said it was a bit slow. I'm sure they would have gotten around to all those things. They were promised a few seasons but only got 1.
I liked blood and chrome and caprica
Ugh, and don't even get me started on that Matrix bullshit. That had absolutely no place whatsoever, it was completely out of keeping with the series' contemporary moorings
Caprica was bad because Jane Espenson is a shitty writer and shouldn't have been promoted as showrunner.
it was getting better, the finale had alot of potential
I just couldn't get into Blood & Chome, no matter how hard I tried. Sure it sounded good on paper - young Bill Adama, first cylon war plus getting to see the Galactica during her prime in full war mode. But the entire thing was just badly done CGI from start to finish. The idea of cylon sympathizers was an interesting one but because it was a last minute twist it fell completely flat with no exposition or exploration.
Caprica had mommy in it so I'm not that disappointed
Blood and Chrome was supposed to be a backdoor pilot to a first cylon war series but it was gutted from the start and it had poor reception
Who?
>first cylon war series
Instead what we got was this Not that I'm complaining, there's so little BSG being produced that I'll lap up whatever shit I can find
Siater Clarice/Polly Walker
>typical idiots reaction when you say baltar did literally nothing wrong
It was fucked from the start
>Low budget
>Mostly CGI
>Webisodes
>Straight to DVD uncut version
Here's some opera from Caprica

Blood and Chrome was a huge technical achievement though, in terms of CGI. Some CG might look ugly these days but they had a small team who had to do more than 20k CGI shots in a few months.
Probably another reboot, possibly soft reboot set in the same universe because "Happened before, happen again"
Was the game any good?
Considering it was a B-list game from a smaller studio, it wasn't too bad. Couple of bugs, story's not all that, gets a little repetitive after a while. But there really is nothing quite like strafing a base star with your Jupiter class and firing everything you've got.
>when the plebs don't understand that conspiracy requires intent and he never intended
McCreary is one of the best composers out there. His work made me notice how the tv and movie soundtracks have become so bland.
I wish tv and movie producers would stop hiring Zimmer's former ghost composers.
The show had already been rejected by then, though why it fieldstone aired as a webserie instead of a TV movie is beyond me, especially since it aired as one later anyway.
Honestly never thought Starbuck was hot. She's more friend, tomboy, hangout with the guys chick.
she is disgusting
Rumor has it she's crazy great in bed.
FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
You'd have to ask Karl Urban

THE
FRAKKING
I feel like BSG and caprica are his only good OSTs. Maybe because Richard Gibbs set the scene for the series in the prequel.
I watched TWD and was surprised to find out that its scored by him, the music was totally forgettable.
WALLS
Nice trips
Or ask Kristian Harloff
Has there ever been a show with so little rewatch value? All that political commentary too. lol
>We suicide bombers in Iraq now
You should check out his work on Human Target and Black Sails (he kind of reinvented the pirate music so it wouldn't sound like Zimmer's work on Pirates of the Caribbean), it was pretty good.
He didn't have a lot of freedom in the early seasons of TWD. They changed showrunners a bunch of times, some wanted more original music, others wanted pop songs instead.

Rdm and the writers don't really have an overarching plan for bsg; they just pulled shit out of their anuses most of the time after the miniseries
...
I think Ron just wanted to do some social commentary like he did on DS9
