Wtf are reservoir dogs?

Also, weird film names thread.

Indiana Jones.
First of all, who the fuck names their kid Indiana? Thats a state, not a name.

Sick Dogs often go down to reservoirs/bodies of water to die, like birds flying out to sea

That was the dog's name!!!!!!!!!!!

Indiana was their dog’s name. Henry Jones Jr. liked it so much he took the name for himself.

Who the fuck names himself though?

His name is Junior. Not Indiana.

Wut?

Orang means man in some asian laungauge, I forget. Like orangutan

A Clockwork Orang or mechanical man, which fits with the theme

The title is originally the title of the book of course on which the movie is based. The significance of the title comes from an article by Anthony Burgess, the writer of the book.
It is actually a slang used by old London dwellers.
In Anthony Burgess's own words in the introduction entitled "A Clockwork Orange Resucked," the title refers to a person who "has the appearance of an organism lovely with colour and juice but is in fact only a clockwork toy to be wound up by God or the Devil or (since this is increasingly replacing both) the Almighty State."
So it refers to a person who is robotic behaviourally but one that is, in all other respects, human. The title is significant not only because Burgess references it about, say, 1,000 times throughout the book, but also because it sums up what threatened our protagonist-narrator so much.

>Blade Runner

The title comes from when QT worked in a video store. He would often recommend films to plebs. Like an autist he recommended Au revoir les enfants to some normie. To which he responded, "man I ain't watching no Reservoir Dogs."

Die Hard

Is Bruce a diehard fanatic? Is it hard for him to die? Is it an exhortation for the viewer to die with an erection?

Lemkin is the boss?

There's a scene of Hallorann talking with Danny in the hotel kitchen where he explains what the shine is.

It was, the black guy said it

It is hard for him to die, ya dummy
