Horror general

Ded thread edition, what's everyone watching? Just watched conjuring thought it was pretty good surprisingly, how is the second?

I liked the second one even better. You should check out "The Ritual" if you haven't.

I've seen the ritual was ok will give 2 a watch, are any conjuring spin-offs worth watching?

bump

If dolls freak you out, Annabell will do the job. I didn't care as much for the second one. I'd also recommend "A Dark Song." It plays on one of my favorite themes:

"There are rules. You'll never understand them."

eh don't really watch them for scares I just thought one was well made dolls dont scare me

If you like well-made and atmospheric, I bet you'd like "The Mothman Prophecies." It's got a nice cosmic horror vibe.

I'll add to the list thanks been recommended before

Leviathan still kino

Btw, praise the based goreposter

Peter Weller made that movie, was way better than deepstar six, wish we could get actual good giant deep-sea monster kino

Is Virus as good as I keep hearing?

watching rec, this reporter is a qt

...

Is Sup Forums core

Watched Stage Fright last night. Loved it.

Any other horror movies that take place in a theater?

>take place in a theatre

damn, actually a really awesome setting

is the remake of rec any good, called quarantine, I heard it was shit but I'm curious since they apparently changed stuff

holy fuck rec got pretty fucking terrifying right at the end

more movies in the same vibe of The Blackcoat's Daughter and The Witch? Really great movies, horror but no retarded jumpscares

Blair witch project, Rosemary's baby

already watched those and liked both, but thanks my man

hmm, have you seen the tenant?

rec 3 and 4 worth watching?

Also yes, my favorite Polanski movie

good horror COMEDIES are my favorite

Tremors (sorta)
Housebound
Evil Dead 2
Cabin in the Woods

i immediately cant think of any more, but theyre generally pretty obscure. its such a thin line, and they usually fail.... Belko Experiment, that one is fun too. and Shaun of the Dead, obviously

some more traditional ones.

Green Room = horror. fuck you, it absolutely is
Babadook is cool
A Tale of Two Sisters
The Invitation. I bet a lot of people here havent seen this one. its pretty cool

i frequently use bloody-disgusting com to find obscure horror shit, but its a genre where most of it is garbage. but finding the hidden gems is worth it

Hmm well Hellhouse LLC is a neat found footage mockumentary sort of thing, only has one jump scare iirc and it's not out of nowhere

Thanks, going to check this out

Bump

Just watched The Conspiracy last night because of the last thread, and saw The Tunnel a couple years ago and I seem to really like these spooky mockumentaries. They seem to be a bit more enjoyable than regular found footage (I love the idea of found footage but most I've seen weren't great.) Any more like these?

horror is a genre for tweens and stupid women. stop emasculating yourself.

Dario Argento's Opera, man.
Well, part of it, anyway.

Oh, and Popcorn and Demons.

I watched The Void yesterday, it was too busy and hectic for me.

Anyone got more comfortable movies to watch in bed?

Watching Friday the 13th Part 3. Shelly is an annoying twat with a jewfro.

Good thread, lots of solid choices.

I'd recommend Under the Skin, it's not straight up horror, but it's chilling and unsettling

Truly the Seth Rogen of F13.
