I miss Spidey being a teacher

I miss Spidey being a teacher

Not relatable enough.

I agree, OP. It was a fun mini for what it was.

Is that Harley Quinn upfront?

I need to read this

Peter working at a school was pretty fun. It's a shame they just dropped that.

no its some weird strong body old face student

The floating brain?

Why is Spider-Man acting like a retard when he worked as a science teacher for years beforehand?

Becuase the story is after OMD, so Peter is not allowed to act like an adult.

>non-mutant
Woah was Storm some kind of mutant supremacist?

I get that you're meme-ing but when you're teaching mutant kids at a mutant school how to use their mutant powers you should probably be a mutie

Not a supremacist, no. She just thinks that people from different backgrounds are inherently incapable of empathizing with or understanding each other, and should thus all choose to voluntarily self segregate. Of course.

So why the hell isn't she relegating herself to a separate school for black mutants? Clearly white mutant privilege makes the rest of the teachers unfit for teaching black mutants.

Can we just take a second to appreciate how the entire American Left is now obsessed with spitting in MLK's face and tramplong his dream?

So who teaches these kids regular school classes? Y'know, English, History, Biology... Do they have to find licensed teachers of those specialties who also happen to be mutants?

Mutants are really intolerant of others...

Good ol' Spidey's still got it.

Being mutant is basicaly having powers. Why not accept Spider-Man who has powers since his 15 and basically was a nothing before that?

He wrote his own name without the hyphen?

Either that, or they just pick a vet and tell them to teach a class. Nothing better than a teacher who has to learn as they go along.

You could read this as self-segregating behavior, or mutants being willfully ignorant of Spider-Man's bad rep back in the day to make a point. Personally, I think Prof. X and the other X-Men from Secret Wars were still butthurt that Spidey nearly whipped the whole team, and it's just a house rule for ALL the X-Men to use anything they can to put him down.

Most of the X-Men got teaching licenses. from Xavier when he was their teacher and the mansion was a college.

Liberal is not left

Damn just trying to teach some kids responsibility and mutants just do a sneaky attack from behind

>Mr Spiderman
Saul Spiderman?

What comic is this from?

Next page please?

Spider-Man being a teacher isn't fantastical enough or provide for easy storytelling possibilities in the same ways that being a WHIZ KID SCIENCE INVENTOR does.

It's sad, because it fits his character a lot better. Peter's home life was never exciting.

Spiderman snd the X-Men

Its weird, I thought she might have been more enlighten about this, after all this time. Although I haven't been following the arc her her character, but surely its something that's been worked over?

Spider-man as a teacher was cool.

Peter Parker as a teacher was lame.

Peter keeping a civilian lifestyle always fucked him over, it would all have been easier if he just worked at home or something.

But who am I kidding, he's a glutton for punishment.

Why waste his talent on gene trash. Fuck mutants.

This comic really should have been called "Spider-Man meets the SJWs"

All love is beautiful

Spider-man is basically a mutant already.
X-gene activates during Puberty, Peter gets bitten at 15 and is one big puberty metaphor. The public hates mutants, Peter can't literally has a newspaper publisher giving him constant bad PR.

Put a lid on it and go do something useful like cure cancer or something you horndog.

Liberal is commonly associated with left-leaning views in both America's fucking awful political spectrum and the more classical liberal notions and id like to see your logic that completely ignores this fact.

>Prof X

Cockshit he of all people would never use the "You're not one of us so you don't understand" argument.

Did you SEE how badly the X-Men got BTFO in that issue? Scumbag Charlie would absolutely hold a grudge for that.

I don't want to cure cancer, I want to turn into dinosaurs.

Source?

best line ever it came from this comic

On his good days, maybe. One bad day and he's preaching a kind of isolationism that's barely any different from Magneto's rhetoric.

>I'm a monster
Woah was No Girl some kind of racist?

That is a big Mr. Sinister.

Peter being a teacher was way better.

>kissing a girl when she's on the brink of losing consciousness

Pretty sure that's rape right there

Liberals are centrist. The Democratic Party hasn't been centrist in a long time. They're social democrats that pretend to be liberals out of cultural inertia.

Wow, I never knew that Professor X was a white supremacist nazi kkk Trump supporting bigot.

Xavier is disappointed in you, Storm.

I am beginning to think Hellion has a better girlfriend now than when he was with X23

'Liberals' are not necessarily centrist

Classical English Liberalism can be by all rights be considered belonging to the left and the right. What happens is the consideration of other factors which are not illiberal to have or not. Like a welfare state is not illiberal because everyone has access to it and does not prevent you from living a self determining life, but this flies in the face of an-caps and libertarians who themselves can be called liberals.

Liberal is also a term that has been intentionally obfuscated in order to make political discussion harder.

Same as the word 'Socialist' which in reality is another way of saying 'State Communist' and not 'Sociocapitalist Liberal'.

So liberal is often used to mean Left wing when the two aspects are not interdependent

This obfuscation is a result of post modernist writers and thinkers who recognized from the modernist tradition of the early 1900s that language is tied intrinsically to ideology. That you can not express any simple idea without having underlying biases and preconcieved ideas that are not being considered. So by obfuscating socialist and liberal they altered the perception of both likewise 'right wing' and 'nazi' are being obfuscated when in truth the nazi's and the communists were collectivists, and the nazi's and modern sjws are racial subjectivists, and during the riots in Weimar germany prior to hitler's rise, socialists and national socialists switched sides very often depending on who was stronger. And did so because they believe the same principles.

TL;DR communist plots etc.

Raimi came in and punched up some some of the dialogue.

What? His rhetoric is the exact kind of thing he'd say to justify bringing in MORE refugees and immigrants.

That is a 'what did you say nigga' face if I've ever seen one.

>I think hybridization stops a political theory from belonging under a larger umbrella even though it shares core tenets with another political theory
>I think the Nazi party was the same party it was before and after Hitler took power and changed it completely

She doesn't like spidey very much

>doesn't know that private property is a core liberal value and it's anethema to socialism
>doesn't know that hitler was a racial subjectivist and believed the safety of the state outweighs personal freedom (collectivism)

Nice try

You know, teacher Parker and the Police Captain Parker from spidergirl both just seemed right, even when it wasn't a school of mutants.

You need to actually learn what symbolism means on a resetting timescale. Again...
>responding to an obvious Interpol trolling post

Kaioken Trips confirm Stinkmeaner possession

So just a neoracist.

Well, I know I won't miss him being a rich business man.

Iceman used to teach math. He's a certified accountant.

I'm kinda sure they had a shiar teaching mutants, but nevermind. The x-men hating Spidey was a thing in that series.

Because that is kinda say Marvel is recognizing they are out of excuses about why mutants should be hated and all, while non-mutant powered people and inhumans are okay.

No wonder why people hate mutants.

Didn't Spider-Man once have a mutant student who also worked for SHIELD?
