It was #1 trending at over 70k tweets, then next moment it had 5k tweets, then it wasn't on the list.
They filtered the auto complete, so when you typed it it removed the t, changed it to
#draftourdaughers
which split the tweets, they restored it a few hours later after it slowed down, then split it again after it started to pick up again, this time filtering out another letter from the autocomplete, waited for it to slow down then restored the autocomplete.
Effectively stopping it from trending again.
It's still getting a good amount of tweets, but nowhere near as many as it was.
