more importantly, will I?
you bet he got a peace of that sweet sweet coca cola cash
I think this 'show' was 100% social engineering by Comrade Weiner
take off your ideological glasses man, if anything the show glorified capitalism in many respects.
>muh moonlanding

>muh moon landing
>muh JFK lies

>muh attack the tobacco industry constantly
>muh the auto industry are all fratboy rednecks
>muh the guy who questions automation is a loon who cuts off his nipples
We could go on...
Of course not. Don was doomed to repeat his mistakes for life.
You are just making a fool of yourself by spouting this shit in every Mad Man thread. Wait, is that what you're trying to do- is this one of those "I'll make the opposition look unreasonable" false-flags? It must be, either that or you're a genuine retard.
Probably went back and got with his daughters friend. The one that had the hots for him.
There is no "peace" to get. There is just the idea of "peace" and "happiness" that used to sell things or get people to do things generally. That's the whole point of the show. The reason Don can use these ideas so successfully is because he knows they don't really exist apart from abstract longings that have stuck with him his whole life. The impossible dream is impossible. And people will pay anything to try and feel it for a moment.
And for everyone saying that Mad Men is social engineering designed to make you hate America, well its piss poor engineering because it makes me love America even more. We don't need to pretend there is some distant peace and happiness somewhere in our traditions, or high in the mountains, or nature or any of that other bullshit that people believe. There is only the fleeting happiness that you can buy, and the only peace is knowing you have enough money to buy some more tomorrow.
America is the materialistic utopia Marx could only dream of.
Don was truly at peace when he was drunk and giggly and you can't prove me wrong

MM was maybe the worst out of all the Soetoro era propaganda shows
(and that's saying something)
Hey, he and I do have something in common then! I can't wait for tomorrow night because I know that between beers 3 and 12 I will feel all sorts of peace and happiness.
...
well then it was right-wing propaganda because I'm as conservative as they come and I fuckin love that show (also, why don't you give your little "I'm an Alt-Right asshole" bit a rest for a while?)
>muh right wing v. left wing
there's no wings to social engineering and revisionist history
>took seven seasons, two divorces, dozens of women crushing him, a business partner hanging himself, and his company getting bought out by "the man" to realize he needed to go to a hippy pscho retreat to get peace
a shitty ending, it should have ended when he walked out of the last meeting.
fuck off shills
and take your high gloss propaganda (((show))) w/ you
I can't stand most political labels, especially not those dumb left/right binaries, but by a lot of metrics I could be somewhat classed as a fascist and I think Mad Men is great, and not all that far either Rome or The Sopranos.
Stop shitposting in such an otherwise innocuous and decent thread. Go do something else.
>social engineering and revisionist history
you spout the same shit in every thread, we get it, you're "an angry Alt-Right asshole", we get it, why don't you just move on with your life, and fuck your samefagging too, faggo
butt out faggot you know this retard dumps this same "revisionist history" bullshit in every Mad Man thread, I'm sick of him ruining good threads
>Comrade Weiner dindu nuffin
