The problem is in the modern nuclear age nuclear armed countries cannot afford to collapse, lest those world-ending weapons end up in the hands of others.
Technology has also progressed to the point where even if 90% of a country is degenerate cucks, the 10% that aren't will have modern weapons at their disposal to deal with hordes of poorly-equipped barbarians. Having 100,000 soliders at the ready doesn't mean shit if the opponent has C130 Gunships and you don't.
Now as in the future, warfare will be economic. Superpowers will battle for control of money and influence, and will do it through market manipulation and commerce, not soldiers. We see this today with the USA vs China.
BTW Trump is the only candidate in years that really understands this.

Unless you actually know things about history like:
A) The Romans suffered from big leadership problems because the intelligentsia was poisoned by lead.
B) Inbreeding caused massive problems for many empires, something that doesn't happen know because people understand genetics better
