It's Noir Story#3 CyberPunk Edition.

Like any good noir story it has copious amounts of violence and mistreatment of women though. So soy boys are gonna give 1 star and MAGApedes are gonna give it 5.

Could've been great, if Jones had a good screenwriter polish the fuck out of his story and a good editor rejigger the film to give it a better flow.

It was weird as fuck, when right after the scene where Theroux and Rudd conduct a quippy torture together, it switches straight to Rudd going to Theroux's office for no reason, looking at his video records for no reason and having an emotionally charged tussle. Plus why the fuck is there a monitor with pedo stuff in Theroux's foyer, where anyone can access it?

To add a final bleak and pretty tense act. The whole structure war pretty film noir like. The characters true nature were very blurry until the end and even after that mayn things remain unspoken.
