What options are you picking? How much money did you bet? How big are the odds?
I'm thinking putting money on voter turnout and Trump being president. Voter turnout in 2008 was above 60% with a little dip to 57% in 2012. This election the stakes are higher so I'm expecting a voter turnout of over 60% easily.
Also Trump will be president which will multiply my inputmoney by 3.65
I bet yesterday when the odds where 5/1. One hour later the odds dropped. Consider me lucky.

I think I've already stuck plenty of money on this election, plus the odds have tanked since the FBI investigation reopened.

I was, but it seems to be prohibited on betting platforms here.

Put 300 quid down on Trump winning on Skybet, I'll get 1125 when he wins. They've changed the odds massively over the past few days. I'd have got 1800 quid from 300 if I had just put some money down earlier. Regret not betting on Brexit, simply because it never occurred to me to bet on it.
Austin Cox
He's down to 3.50 - 1 in Aus now.
I don't think he's good value at that point.

Nee; de trump is een geniale 5D chessmaster vanuit de toekomst.. En daarboven is er een internationale rozenkrans bezig voor Trumps overwinning. Ik hoop op een nieuwe lepanto.

So I signed up for PredictIt a year ago. I placed $310 on Trump winning the primaries. His value went up, and I made $90. Feeling cocky, I withdrew all my money and put it all on Rand Paul not making it into the next debate. Big mistake. I lost the $90 I made and another hundred.
Right now, according to the site, I have $262.90 riding on "a woman will not be the US presidential election," or 723 shares at 36 cents each. Since signing up, though, I've actually put another $50 in, for a total of $390 invested, though the number on the site doesn't reflect that.
If Trump wins, all 723 of my shares will redeem at $1.00 each, meaning I'll gain 64 cents per share, on top of the $262.90 I invested. 723 x 0.64 = $462.72, and $462.72 + $262.90 = $725.66. The site takes a 10% cut, though, so I'll make $653.09. I've invested $390 into this site, so I'll ultimately make a profit of $263.09. It's not a bad sum of money, but I've wasted a year on this bullshit. If I hadn't been so impulsive and retarded, I could've checked out at least five months earlier and made significantly more money.
Feel free to correct my math.
Connor Collins

It seems that PredictIt is a huge scam. I "invested" about 600 € in Trump () and I could make nearly 2000 € when he wins.

Why does "conspiracy theorist" even have a negative connotations? Conspiracies do exist, so it makes sense to theorize about them. And if your conspiracy theory turns out to be correct, that doesn't mean it wasn't a conspiracy theory, because it was still a theory about a conspiracy.
Landon Gonzalez

I've placed my bets for the past two weeks, and now have an average odd of 4,3:1 on a 4000€ stake. If I win, I'll make 13k net. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity, I have never gambled in a casino or placed serious bets on sports. I work as a trader, and there, when you have a Risk to Reward ratio of 3:1 with a consistent winning odd of 40% you're really good.
I regard this as a big opportunity to take money directly from (((them))); Trump already announced that he would smash the media monopolies and even reverse some major mergers involving all those TV stations that have doubled down with their ridiculous """polls""". They've got nothing to lose, and it looks like the betting agencies haven't realized that yet. No need to blame them, better to take advantage of it.

Congratulations, you asked the exactly right question - I normally don't talk to others about trading, since they expect you to do all work for them. But when someone asks them how to work their way to success like you, they're welcome!
What did you have in mind? I mean, do you want to trade besides a regular job without being dependent upon it?
Trust me, it took me a hell of a lot of time to finally become profitable in forex and futures - had I known the price before, I wouldn't have taken that path I suppose.
Cooper Myers
After many years of misery and failure, I have finally found something that works consistently. It's now about exploiting that edge. If I lose that money, it would hurt financially of course, but not emotionally. This opportunity is once in a lifetime.
Henry Ross
The more money I can make with it; the better.. But if I could do it as a side-job that would be great.
I have never invested before in my life and I don't know if I have any affinity with it.

>But if I could do it as a side-job that would be great.
Focus on this. Realistically, becoming a profitable trader will take you as long as learning a foreign language fluently. If you're dependent on the money, you'll fail - because you'll compete with others that don't.
After many, many, many years of reseach and experimenting, here is my recommendation:
1. Buy a copy of Mircea Dologa's book "Integrated Pitchfork Analysis". It's the best summary of what the big boys to across the globe.
2. Go to Medianline.com and peek through the free ressources. This is the site of Timothy Morge - he's the real deal.
3. Go to interactivebrokers.com/en/index.php?f=2227 Click on "Industry sponsored", and download all free webinars by Timothy Morge. He's the guy that crashed the Gold market 3 years ago.
4. Register at Tradingview.com . Avoid all discussions etc. A free membership is enough; this should become your chart-book where you track markets.
5. Once you've read the book and watched the seminars, have a look at www.coghlancapital.com These guys execute the methodology described above, and offer an excellent daily analysis.
6. DO NOT trade real money for the first year. Open your first account ONLY when you have become consistently profitable on a demo account.

Electoral college deadlock (Clinton 269 electors, Trump 269 electors). The House of Representatives can vote for anyone on the ballot who got at least one elector. So beside Clinton or Trump it could be Pence or Kaine, or McMullin (or his VP) if he wins Utah.
Leo Lewis

William Jackson
its a coin flip, and you get 9/2
Christopher Wood
I was thinking of betting but unless the odds go back up I probably wont risk it. 2 days ago it was 1/5 but I thought I'd wait a little bit because Rick Wilson and others said a new trump tape was coming out. Now if memory serves the best you can get today is 1/3. Fucking Rick rolled. Was probably going to be atleast £5k.
If I was certain it wouldnt be rigged I would bet everything I have on Trump as I'm certain that if its fair he will but we already know that the voting machines are changing Trump votes to Clinton ones and no one is doing anything to correct it.

I put some bets from 1:6 to 1:4, either BTC or cash. I normally dont bet, because I dont like the emotional aspect and the ups and downs it makes you go through. With the election I feel like its a bit different since I have been following Trump's run for months now and I am pretty content with my bets. However its kinda scary reading some of you guy's comments and how sure you all already are that you get your winnings. Especially since it's really easily to bet a few thousands just like that (literally just 2 clicks for me and a matter of seconds). Like no matter how much dirt they will be able to throw at Hillary until the 8th, afterall It will literally be a rigged election and you should never forget that when placing your bets.
Jackson Kelly
This.
Never forget, gambling is a game and you should be fine with losing everything you put into it.
