banging trannies

Last I checked he was dicking around a bunch of traps or transexuals or whatevers.

on Sup Forums

He's finishing up the next Multiple Warheads I think? Also seems to be doing a few covers here and there.

Also who else is still waiting on that Inkstuds Tour artbook to come about? It's over two years now

brandon pls no

think of the children

He's been jacking off to antifa themed cuckhold comics.

>trannies

That's even worse than publishing Onta's terrible furry femboys at a pride parade comic.

From what I gather Island failing was a hit to his morale about doing comics.

He was still working on enough Multiple Warheads to finish a second trade along with the Island material and doing a art book.

Then he went to some big con and it seemed to really bring back his love of comics and he joked that his current workload is his "comeback" with Multiple Warheads, the artbook, and a new project once those two are done that will be all him.

I know, he needs to teach children not to have such shit taste in transexuals. There's so much better out there.

Leaving aside the fact that it was basically porn without the porn, that Onta comic had dog-vomit writing.

Pornographers can't write well, because they write "porn characters", not people who act like actual human beings.

If that was the standard of writing that "Islands" expected, it deserved to fail.

My biggest problem with Island was the length of the stories. They decided it was better to have 3 full standard comic length stories per issue instead of going for multiple shorter comics or a mix. It got to a point where for $8 there was often only one story I enjoyed.

Brandon deserved better, he is /ourguy/ after all...

Whatever he's doing now, I'll be eternally thankful for giving Abbadon and Kill Six Billion Demons a chance at being published

He's doing a great job curating talent, even if their work isn't my thing, at least it's all different and for some other readers.

All the stuff by the former Marvel people is so goddamn samey. Yeah they're not writing superheroes anymore, but they still pace and plot books the same way that was burned into them by years of working at that publisher.

The problem is basically this: Image, which has become THE place for big two talent to publish their shit at, is that it's also THE place for people who look to want adaptation royalties.

The majority of image comics are tv / movie pitches, specially designed to look good on screen. A great example of it is that one comic about the two crooked cops.

>He's doing a great job curating talent
It's pretty clear from sight that Grahams checks out lots of new US talent. He's basically the only person doing this nowadays. Looking outwards instead of inwards

In a way, I think he should work at the big two. Both companies have kept to their old ideas for at least 20 years now. DC stopped really innovating after Vertigo and marvel for even longer. A good talent scout like Graham innovate big time in either company.

I am so fucking jealous. His actual trans gf is hot as fuck too.

He just set up this new site, which is neat: coredoor.ca/

Other than that I assume he's still making comics.

Brandon is like the Western porn comics guy who writes a fun pornographic comic like hentai artists such as Yamatogawa or Yonekura Kengo though.

The only other thing I can thing of like that is... I don't know, Small Favors? Honestly I'd be fine with Brandon Graham just only publishing pornography from now until his death.

The most interesting Onta comics story-wise are the ones that unpick the relationship between the lion guy and the dog boy a bit, because they have this kinda resentful chemistry. I agree the one in Island was just a flag-waving Pride thing which is whatever, fine, I get why you make that your debut but not as interesting.

He's working on shit, a week or two ago he was talking about how he thought it was important to go away for awhile to work and let people learn to miss you.

Brandon get those Prophet HCs done already dammit

Brandon if you are reading this you are the fucking boss man, your comics are comfier than hot cocoa in winter.

Creeped me the fuck out that he screencapped the JSA thread.

What was the deal with 8House anyway?

I think it was supposed to be a bunch of comics set in the same OverWorld that only sorta connected but I guess it was just too ambitious. I don't even know if many finished. Emma Rios' did and so did From Under Mountains which I think was Graham/Marian Churchland

Grand vision which didn't quite implement.

Hey Brandon if you ever see this thread I've always wanted to ask you if you read Rogue Trooper and what you think of it.

I'd like you to reboot it for the US and make Venus Bluegenes a cute trap.

My problem is they decided to split up the parts of some stories so one part would appear in like issue 3, then the next part would appear in issue 6.

What's wrong with that?

>but I guess it was just too ambitious

It wasn't really that ambitious, though. They just chose to do a screwy multi book release thing instead of straight arcs.

even so it's a lot of people to get working in sync to produce a monthly thing

Not the guy you are replying to, but I guess he said that because it screws with continuity.

If you are only interested in a single story, to get the second part you'd need to buy several issues instead of the next one. There is nothing wrong with the model, sometimes it is not possible to fit schedules, but it is just a bit jewish.

This one?

I believe James Stokoe said he wants to do a Rogue Trooper comic with IDW.

Living the dream

Ok she is pretty hot. Damn Graham u a playa

all those scenes in Prophet with John fucking that twink are starting to make sense

OP here.

thanks for all the responses. i'll take a peek at coredoor.ca soon.

dude's talented and I wish him the best. sucks Island was cancelled, but I found the writing and art quality lacking. maybe it just wasn't my thing. Prophet was amazing, though.
