For those dismayed by the success of Black Panther.
Half of the box office is clearly due to it being a part of the MCU. People feel the need to see it in anticipation of Infinity War.
Marvel/Disney are probably also aware of the enroaching fatigue people are having so they are using the race card to fill up seats.
After Avengers 4 is when we will see how people really feel about the MCU.

>Has a movie ever btfo Sup Forums this hard before Is this what the discussion has come to? There's nothing else to talk about with this film already? Have you heard of a movie called The Thing? DId you know we still have threads on Sup Forums that actually discuss the film and characters and plot and possible endings and unsolved mysteries. The Thing came out in 1982 by the way, that makes it almost 36 years old, and it still offers so much to discuss. But with Black Panther it already comes to this? Really? The movie is still in theaters and we have no memes or memorable lines or scenes or characters. No, all we have are Disney shills who have nothing more to say about the movie other than it btfo Sup Forums. John Carpenter btfo Sup Forums because he made a film that Sup Forums is still discussing to this day. That's btfo. This? No. You shills have been here for months making threads like, "Black Panther has the most pre-sale tickets of any marvel movie!". Why would Sup Forums be surprised it's actually making money? You shills told us this was going to happen the entire time. The only thing that surprised me is the audience score already dropped to 78% on Rotten Tomatoes. Guess you can't fool everyone, huh? So now with no actual content to discuss in this film, you resort to this. Really shows what kind of movie we're working with here. Good job, Marvel shills. Bravo.
Oliver Anderson
Part of it is because critics were too afraid to give it a negative review because they knew the backlash they'd get. They basically gamed the tomatometer
Landon Ross
Is this the designated Sup Forums safe space recovery thread after getting unequivocally BTFO?
Jace Rivera
You could say that if you like.
Though this is the main reason why it was successful.

Stupid fucking /pole/faggot is wrong again. Stupid fucking retard, go back to your hugbox

Is this a pasta?
Julian Baker
Yes. It's a new pasta some autist from Sup Forums is spamming because his ideology was thoroughly destroyed.

>People feel the need to see it in anticipation of Infinity War. "people" dont give a fuck about the MCU "people" dont give a shit about continuity of movies at all "people are fucking normies who just want to see a bunch of flashing lights distract them from their mundane shitty normie existence My dad only bought and watched LotR Two Towers because it had a better rating. He thought it was good. Never saw the others I recommended Ong Bak to a coworker... He watched Ong Bak 3 I recommend a TV series to a friend... He plays it on his laptop while hes cooking dinner then complains it was hard to follow because hes too stupid to pay attention Most people are fucking pleb retards with absolutely no concept of respect for narrative flow.

I myself normally despise capeshit as anyone should but I can't help but feel happy that this film is doing well because I know it triggers the fuck out of the Sup Forums cancer that has infested this board. Hopefully it teaches them some humility for once.

Are the people that frequently post and visit Sup Forums tired of being wrong yet?
Avengers 3 will break all kinds of records. Avengers 4 will be a much anticipated follow up.
>enroaching fatigue What fatigue? There’s like 3 MCU movies a year.
If people still havent gotten tired of the dozens of shit jump scare horrors movies, same generic romcoms and comedies with the same crop of actors, the same old actor still doing action movies, what makes you think people will get fatigued with 4-6 Superhero movies a year?
The only fatigue is the one that’s created when you spend 24/7 on the internet getting bombarded with nerd shit, especially here in Sup Forums where they hate capeshit but can’t stop discussing it.
I am by no means a hardcore fan of the MCU but you people seriously understimate the braindead masses that will consume this type of media like black people with KFC. It won’t stop, MCU already cracked the formula, the critics are bought and manchildren will never ever question Disney. They are literally printing money. The only thing they can do is self sabotage like Thanos in the comics.
Caleb Gonzalez
Don't most Horror movies flat out flop except for a few like The Conjuring and It?
I never said Avengers 4 would flop. I don't believe it will. I said I believe after Thanos is over and done with, people will slowly start to lose interest because the movies will start to feel very milked.
Not to mention they will start to introduce the terrible diversity characters and things will start to feel like it was ran into the ground.
Asher Roberts

Get out more, bro and, I insist, if you need somebody to talk to I can assist, or perhaps at least help you find the right person.
Good luck

Well that's not a bad thing. Nothing can be worse than TLJ after all.
