We were going to remove our president but the government said haha fuck you boii and canceled that shit, so they've essentially established themselves as a dictatorship.
There's gonna be a huge protest on november 3rd going to the Presidential Palace if the elections aren't back in place.
This, of course, implying that Colombia, Cuba, the Vatican and the US are not controlling our opposition in order to keep Cuba afloat and the FARC (which is mostly operating in Venezuela) working until Santos can forge a peace treaty. There's a very high chance that the opposition sold out and is working to please globalists, which explains why the've canceled a shitload of protests and movements that could literally end Maduro, getting a lot of hate. 3 days ago another huge protest was staged in Caracas but everyone was just pissed, it wasn't even healthy hype. People were shouting insults at the opposition leaders for being useless faggots and not leading them to the Presidential Palace. They gave november 3rd as a deadline, making us think that they're giving the govt one last chance, but it's most likely some time they're buying to make a nice deal with Maduro and the Cubans.
The last hope for that country is Leopoldo Lopez. Capriles sold out, Ramos Allup is trying to get AD back on track and will most likely sell out, Chuo is a fucking snake, all the parties are corrupt as shit. Leopoldo hasn't been freed yet because the conditions have always been that he must go into exile, and he doesn't want that jewish bullshit. He wants to be the next president and the next Simon Bolivar, and he's gonna get that shit.

Chavez put a lot of criminals as ministers and justices, changed the administration of PDVSA, fucking over the oil industry, literally stole thousands of acres of private land and expropriated thousands of businesses, crippling the private sector forever, armed the colectivos or "peace groups" that can be seen beating the shit out of people at opposition rallies, gave shelter to known ETA and Hamas terrorists and even trained terrorists in Venezuela, established gun control, and created a social division that still lasts until today. He singlehandedly destroyed a country in a decade and even stole over a trillion dollars while doing it

Venezuela has already become a low key narco state and is quickly becoming a full blown dictatorship run by a corrupt idiot with radical leftist ideology.
They're not just running the economy into the ground with idiotic policies, they're also stealing tens of billions of dollars a year from the oil revenues while the oil company PDVSA the whole system depends on is rapidly declining in both total production as well as efficiency.
Only hope left is for the military to either force Maduro out but keep the govt in power and make small reforms or a full coup to establish a new regime.

One of the craziest things about Venezuela is that it managed to become a HIGH-CRIME authoritarian state.
Most authoritarian states at least enforce public safety. If there's one big upside to strongmen, it's that they don't tolerate challengers to state authority, whether opposition groups or mere street-criminals.

Venezuela, much like North Korea, is "out" of the international financial system.
The difference is they dont have the infrastructure or resources to self sustain or a big daddy chyna to provide when needed.
They have a shit ton of oil though, but since they are blacklisted for international trade no one dares to trade with them (except Iran, ocassionally before the US deal).
Maduro won elections fair and straight and the globalist dont like it, so they basically isolated till the country gets fed up and a social uprising starts.

No, but you obviously are. There absolutely are countries willing to trade with them that still do. But VZ is in this position for a multitude of reasons:
A) Their lack of investment in maintaining/improving infrastructure, which including PDVSA's crude capabilities. They are nowhere near maximizing oil production, considering the enormous reserves that they have.
B) Drop in price of oil... Something out of their control. But to have little to no alternative methods for revenue falls on no one but Venezuela. Socializing all industries and having their sloppy, corrupt government run everything eliminated the potential for any other industries to thrive. Not to mention fucking handing out a living to everyone kills incentive, makes a lazy fucks' paradise... until it all collapses.
C) Price controls, also hurting their capability for revenue outside of oil. They are completely fucked on trade.
Basically, this socialist regime put all their eggs in one basket and now that the oil prices are falling, it's nobody's fault but their own that they weren't prepared.
