Ok ko

>ok ko
>teen titans
>samurai jack
hey doc, what is it with this shitty weeb pandering?

It works.

comics are too mainstream, weaboos are the new "nerdy" thing to ruin

Oh, so you actually want "Wabbit" back?

Anime > western animation, cartoons have known this since the late 90s

*early 00s

Most of our modern cartoonists grew up watching anime in the 90's and early 00's.

There were a few cartoons with anime influence in the late 90s

They're only playing the old Teen Titans because Teen Titans Go is popular, and TTG isn't weebshit.

Dexter's Lab and OG PPG were full of references to anime and Japanese stuff
Billy and Mandy too

these days it seems more prevalent since now you recognize everything

It was even giant mech or magical girl stuff even before that stuff was familiar with the mainstream audience

Not really.

see

it just works, bugsy old pal. by the way, TTG isn't weebshit, it's just a compilation of rainbow colored wacky hijinx

Hasn't the mainstream been familiar with stuff like sailor moon and gundam since like the mid 90s?

It was still treated as like western animation, only now from japan. The entire anime genre didn't become really a thing till many years later.

I know people compare OK KO to anime a lot, but I really feel like there have been more game references than anime references in regards to the world

>ttg in the op
where?

Yeah, and now they're selling anime in steam of all places.

Japs are the new Jews.

Kids like anime more than capes and looney tunes.
