Pale skinned ginger girls with Scottish accents. Fun fact: The reason that there is so many people in England with Scottish surnames is that once a year in the winter Scottish women migrate south for mating season before returning north to nest with their state assigned cuck boy. This comes about because Scottish men have notoriously small penisis, hence the phenomenon of kilts, which evolved as a means of proving a chaps length and girth by boasting that even in the chill Scottish air he was ready to have a gust of wind reveal is Scottish shortbread, as if were.

You forgot Quartz.

They have the best electronic music.

Thanks, brits, for everything breakbeat, jungle and so on.

There is something quite magical about our countryside. People put so much attention into urban areas, but the vast majority of the country is glorious.

Their classic rock bands. Best contemporary music ever made by far.

We invented, maths, science, history and we're unravelling the mystery that all started with the Norman conquest of the British isles in the mid 11th Century.

It's basically all white outside of the major cities.
For some reason crime rates in these areas are super fucking low too, must be the country air.

Wish I could get British girls to like me desu

Legendary. The land & lore are deeply ingrained in my psyche without ever having been there.

There's nothing to like here as it's all just a facade, especially London the biggest shithole out of all first world capital cities

Name a better fucking anthem, I dare you.

People like Towneley define the English spirit more than anything. He was a pioneer in Tropospheric analysis and amongst many great efforts was one of the discoverers of atmospheric pressure.

Turner was a fan, painted his estate.

That's literally a picture about 150 metres from my house, by the way. It's everywhere. We just need to nuke all urban areas.

I thought it was angela merkels foreign policy.

God damn that's just beautiful. It could look like that where I live if we had cobblestone roads and quaint houses made of stone. But we don't. We do have some Victorian style houses though.

THE WRATH OF THE AWAKENED SAXON
by Rudyard Kipling

It was not part of their blood,
It came to them very late,
With long arrears to make good,
When the Saxon began to hate.

They were not easily moved,
They were icy -- willing to wait
Till every count should be proved,
Ere the Saxon began to hate.

Their voices were even and low.
Their eyes were level and straight.
There was neither sign nor show
When the Saxon began to hate.

It was not preached to the crowd.
It was not taught by the state.
No man spoke it aloud
When the Saxon began to hate.

It was not suddently bred.
It will not swiftly abate.
Through the chilled years ahead,
When Time shall count from the date
That the Saxon began to hate.

Sorry mate if you can't count it on your fingers then it's not a real number. That's why the economy's tanking, all the make believe numbers

Try looking for girls from small towns in the suburbs or rural areas. My girl is from Mullion.

Various rock music, scientific discoveries, rule of law, capitalism, various sports, bringing the world together, English language, ainsley harriott

what did he mean by this?

Not sure what your point is. The song apparently dates back to 1902. The Walt Disney company was founded in 1923. Plenty of time for Disney to take inspiration from such a piece as this. You fucking dolt.

Beer. Lots of great beer in the world, and Europe in particular. I lived in the EU for years and drank barrels of it, so I know. But, the Brits do have some premium beer. To be fair, if you're traveling the EU and you seek out fine local beer, you're going to do quite fine. I think Italy and Spain/Portugal are the only two countries in Europe that can't brew beer to save their miserable lives.

The rest of the food, don't really care much for, although a fair bit of it is alright ... except, I would kill my own mother for some top, hot fish n' chips on a cold, rainy day in London again. With a couple pints (although, I am an American barbarian and do prefer it a few degrees colder than cellar temp).

The music. Mostly, I have a great love of the ancient, roots music with a Pagan edge. In this, it's a love of all the Isles, so Irish/Gaelic/Celtic/Scot ... the whole mix. Beyond the deep roots, I also very much appreciate how that core soul of ancient music is expressed in some of the modern compositions and interpretations.

Then, the English language itself. One of the most evolved, incredible living languages ever. Although, English is not entirely a British property anymore, it's grown and evolved that much. People can pick at it and list some of its faults, but the amazing richness & flexibility of it is somewhat an expression of some of the major "faults" that most people would list (such as inconsistent grammar and borrowed vocabulary).

Most everything else about Britain I could care less about or would be happy to shit on. But I'll admit those are several shining gems that Britain has contributed to the history of humanity. I'll even admit there's a couple more that I'm not listing or thinking of at the moment.

So, there ))you(( go, OP.

Is it true they serve flat beer?

nigey

...

I like its historic contributions

That's one more thing than the amount of thinks I like about australia

i love their accent, their cities are beautiful, and they have the best babes (i dream about Lucy Pinder)

not all of their colonies are complete shitholes, unlike spain or portugal for example

sorry but your anthem is shit

french anthem is the best one by far

Spot on.

And you got to give it to them that now in modern times they're content with destroying themselves on their little island, unlike the USA and Germany that want to drag the whole world into their cuckery.

Not that I've ever had.

Cellar temperature (about 52°F) is a bit warm-ish by American standards. And, some beer really benefits at that temperature since the flavor comes out a lot better. I've brewed beer at home for a lot of years now and I try most of my batches at that temp before deciding if I want to chill them or keep them.

Also, some beers use very little or no hops, so the flavor seems off until you understand the difference between hopped & non-hopped varieties. Both of these points need to be remembered when trying beer throughout Europe ... it's not just a Brit thing.

So, No. Not "flat" (as in non-carbonated). Sometimes unexpectedly not-as-cold-as-expected, and sometimes the flavor seems weak & watery due to lack of hops. Again, once you understand beer and the thousands of variants, nothing about it is unusual.

Also also, I'll repeat, there are some Brit beers (got to get them local, on tap at a pub, not in the store from a bottle) that are some of the best in the world.

IS that, that bridge in Scotland? I can't remember what it is called though.

The best of british pop music are classics from 40 or 50 years ago, but the highlight of english literature includes harry potter? Your music collection must be a lot larger than your book collection.
