this pretty much, even though they've actually kinda separated themselves from Rayman in recent years.

Rabbids are actually very inoffensive and should be given a fair chance in my opinion. I'm enjoying Mario Rabbids actually.

Why does no one ever bitch about the fact Despicable Me outright stole the Rabbids and made them stupidly popular?

I'd imagine because you have normies who like both, people who don't know or refuses to acknowledge the rabbids existence, and rayman fans who just don't care about the minions.

Nobody really cares to point out things like that unless theres a big enough cult following for either side.

The show was a watered down version of the Rabbids. Even fans of the Rabbids didn't care much for the show. The bunnies also have a hatedom composed of Rayman, Sonic and anti-Minion fags.

I liked the Rabbids best when they were violent villains that weren't exclusively the normal grunts. Mario + Rabbids went a long way towards returning variety to the characters and letting you beat the shit out of them.

You can do that in virtually any Rabbids game, I can give examples in case you don't believe me

I was thinking more in terms of someone beating them other than other Rabbids. The only other game I can think of to do that since Rayman was the shitty TMNT game.

I really like how they keep the whole "Go to the Moon" goal. It's a good show for those who like Slapstick comedy. I don't watch every episode, I only watch the program it if it happens to be there when I switch channels.

The hatred for the Rabids came from them stealing Rayman's spotlight, but with the release of Rayman Origins and Legends and the release of good games like Rabbids Go Home and Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle the hatred died down a bit.

They don't have any females (or at least none knows their respective gender), but they will instantly try to fuck any Rabbid with a wig.

The comics are actually pretty funny and great for kids. Some great visual gags there.

I've no idea, I know them 'cause my nephew has two of their books, I didn't even know where those characters came from. They have a few legit funny gags, besides some clever play with comic book language and its posibilities. It's both dumb and clever at the same time.

Only the first two comics were ever officially translated to english with the second volume getting censored. The rest is in French. Chalk it up to the comics being too raunchy for soccer moms and the TV show failing to gain traction.

Rabbids certainly are NOT inoffensive. It's part of why I like them so much. The show was Tom an Jerry with gender bending despite them being genderless. It was chaos. Lovable chaos.

I wouldn't call them amazing, but they're clever and "edgy" enough so you can read them along your kid/nephew/cousin/whatever and have a laugh along with them.

Yeah. I've been unable to find the French versions either. Apparently they are up to at least nine volumes in French while the official English translations were canceled before the third volume could be released.

I just found out that if you search for them on amazon with its french name (le lapins cretins) you can find them all in french, so amazon does sell them. I wonder if anyone would be interested in french scans when I eventually buy them.

Alright, this comic is pretty funny and I assume that a lot of other Rabbids related content is on the same level. But I still can't accept the fact that Rayman 4 got cancelled for a party game, and that the entire series was put on hold for over half a decade to make more Rabbids games. I understand it's business, but I've always really liked Rayman so it was a bit disappointing to me.

The Rayman Party triology may have been good, but the thing is that people could bitch that Rabbids are only selling because of Rayman and that they can't fit in a game that isn't "Party shovelware", so therefore they couldn't be considered "good".

Rabbids Go Home is what proof them wrong, since it was a non Party game without Rayman, which sold great and also got a good gameplay.
