Ok guys. I've been watching Star Trek: Deep Space Nine for the past few weeks. I followed the essential episode guide (a list of about 25 episodes from the first 3 seasons, skipping all the filler crap) and I'm now on season 4 where it starts getting serialized and actually good.
I recently did some photography work for a family friend and he repaid me with an iTunes code, telling me I'd like it. I thought that was fucking stupid until I redeemed it and found it was the digital code from the Game Of Thrones seasons 1-7 box set. So in the middle of watching DS9, I now own GoT.
I've read the first GoT book but I haven't seen any of the show. There's a website that tells you how much time it'll take to binge a show, and it says it'll take almost exactly the same amount of time to watch GoT as it would to finish DS9.
Which one should I do first, faggots?

>skipping fuck off
Tyler Nelson
DS9. GoT is pretty shit actually
Benjamin Price
You only need the first two (maybe 3) seasons of GoT. After that it just becomes a pile of shit.
DS9 is better regardless.
Brayden Scott
DS9 no question
Zachary Bailey
DS9 No question.
Cooper Lewis
The whole Dominion War + Maquis War plotline is unironically great tv acting.
GoT is basically "DUDE incest & magiyck & wine & more magyick and sex LMAO"
Dominic Moore
bad moment for this question,as everybody hates got in this moment and everybody loves ds9. you need to know that ds9 gets better each season, and got is unwatchable after season 4.
Connor Gray
i vote for DS9 OP
Kevin Lewis
>binge
maybe you should binge some zyklon b, you faggot
Grayson Ward
ds9 is a good show, game of thrones is lite pornography for housewives
Zachary James
Also why are you letting other people decide for you which episodes of DS9 are good? You sound like a faggot.
Zachary Bennett
DS9 is great all the way up the final season. Then its boring you kinda just want it to end. The fucking las vegas singer was the worse thing to happen to the show.

Move Along Home is 45 minutes of my life that I'll never get back.

yeah I'm about 5 episodes in to season 4, was planning on watching it straight through from this point. I imagine there's still disconnected filler episodes but not nearly to the level of TNG or Voyager.
this is what I hear. I've also heard the CG get surprisingly god-tier as the show goes on too.

In OP's defense, everyone should skip that fucking Move Along Home episode. This guy already beat me to it: >this is what I hear. I've also heard the CG get surprisingly god-tier as the show goes on too. The Siege of Ar-558 is 90's TV sci-fi kino at it's finest.. Not so much for the CG, but the acting & the dramatic performances really do draw you in.
Even Quark manages to tug your heartstrings a little.

DS9. For me it is the worst Star Trek. GoT became trash somewhere around season 3 or 4.
I don't even consider STD to be a Trek show.
Aiden Green
DS9 is a better show, with a better supporting cast, one of the best supporting casts of any show ever honestly. It is arguably as good as Trek ever gets. Also, don't skip episodes.
GoT starts fantastic, has an incredible first few seasons, then slowly gets worse. But even now it still has great moments that still make it worth watching, especially if you have put the time in even though I guess that's kind of a 'sunk costs' thing honestly. Anyway, it's worth watching even though it's gotten pretty bad at that point and a lot of us are only still watching to see the end.
