Valt The Wonder Deer

The schedule has been very inconsistent recently and they still never aired the finale, but I figured I'd record the episode that just aired. I realize random episodes of a serialized, continuity heavy cartoon isn't the best way to go about this, but it is what it is.

I still really like this show. I like cartoons with a proper story, and it was made in the United States. The creator of SheZow wrote a large number of episodes, although that may inspire Sup Forums to watch it.

It's about a deer prince who must master five elemental powers in order to rescue his parents and defeat a tyrant. A lot of episodes are spent traveling from one destination to another, and once he arrives in a place, they spend a number of episodes dealing with problems until he masters a new power. This episode is the final one of the fire arc. The ending to the episode is cheesy as hell, but it's not a bad episode altogether.

It was the only episode out of the 49 episodes that I've watched where I saw a blatant continuity error. I guess that's not a terrible track record.

First I've ever heard of this series

Are there any Deer Waifus?

He meets a female wonder deer in the second half of the show, when he goes to the land of water. She ultimately gets corrupted by the villain and becomes a villain herself, but the villain quickly finds her ineffective and elects to drain her power instead.

Both Valt and Valanteen had a prophecy in the show, which is one of the few uploads I actually kept.

They did a good job of making her look half-dead when she was drained of life, although her darker color scheme was a by-product of becoming a villain.

I am very interested in the porn that this show will produce.

I still think Trika is the best character in the show.

I feel like they should have let Valanteen do more when she was a villain. The show has problems with its pacing, and is eager to resolve storylines to move on to the next one. She was only working for the queen for a few episodes before she got hooked up to the machine, where she stayed for the rest of the season.

The bird villain in this episode was only a minor villain, who was in a number of episodes. Alia took her down for good in episode 48, but she's going to be back next season.

Their fight went on a bit longer than this YouTube clip shows, but it was done in a way that didn't actually show much action.

The fighting is a weaker part of the show. They have magical attacks and they do kicks and stuff. Mungo has some plasma weaponry, but I don't think people are going to be tuning in for the action sequences. Nearly every episode does have a fight, but I just didn't find them very compelling.

Fanks.

>The creator of SheZow wrote a large number of episodes
So what episode features crossdressing?

No. That trivia is irrelevant.

Honestly, there are a few moments where characters put on make-up and try to woo other characters. Mungo does it once, and so does Yark. It's meant to be comedic.

But 99% of the characters in the show don't wear clothes. Hard to cross-dress, then.

This sounds like a really weird Avatar the last Airbender rip off

That comparison has been made before, but it's not really an insulting comparison. The US needs more cartoons like that.

Just two more. Then I'm done. This is production artwork of Valt and his friends.

...

Sounds like blue blink crossed with something else, maybe atla.

Hold up, Before we go any further, is there ANY furry or queer deer content?

I remember you saying that episode 31 had a bunch of fart jokes in it, is that episode necessary to watch?

________no________

That sort of toilet humor wormed its way into a few episodes. It's not a focal point of the show, and it's not a regular thing, but there are moments. I honestly don't remember which episode 31 was. I was watching two episodes a day and that one aired over a month ago, I think.

Every episode moves the plot forward, but as I said, a number of episodes are them moving on their journey. During the earth arc, they were traveling through a desert and constantly had to stop to find fresh water. The episodes during their journey are generally less important than the ones where they arrive and start doing things. That's not to say the journey episodes don't matter, as there is world building and things like that.

What does she do?

She's the group's healer. She also has the ability to open a third eye on her forehead that lets her see across space and time. She shows up at the 58 second mark of this trailer. I just think she's one of the more fun characters and enjoy her sass.

She has a plush, but the it's only for sell in China right now.

IMO the fire bird is sassier.

Alright, I'll give the series a try.

I suspect it may be a very long time before it comes out in the US. The show is getting a second season, as details leaked accidentally, and its ending implies there will be a third season.

Their best bet would be to cut a deal with Amazon or Netflix, but a relatively small UK distribution company bought the worldwide rights and I'm not sure if they have the connections to close the deal.

I am going to steal yours.

>go on Sup Forums and see people talking about some show
>think I should be open minded and watch it but feel really awkward trying to watch children's cartoons

Life is short to give some shit about what other people thinks about anyone who watches what they want, when they want to, in their time like children's cartoons.

99% of the shows talked about on Sup Forums are children's cartoons.

>mfw I'm okay with all that but can't stand the flash animation.
