Ranma was a romcom, user
Also Japanese

How about one where a girl is turned into a guy?

Shut up tranny

I'd rather just have something with a girl who was always a girl

Why would you want a "serious" show anyways?

You can never get something "serious" because the premise itself is ridiculous. Especially if you expect THAT to carry your entire show.

>We will never have a serious show about a man who is turned into a woman through a magic curse.

Honestly I think it would be uncomfortable even for transexuals to watch.

Also keep your fetishes in romcoms and porn where they belong.

>curse

Like I can't tell where you're going with this

This one.
youtube.com/watch?v=5a-zCKqayT8

Wasn't there a character from Savage Dragon like that who was a captain marvel pastiche?

>Why would you want a "serious" show anyways?
Suffer fetishists probably.

user if you wanted to start a R63 thread it would've helped if your OP was actually Sup Forums. Now this might get purged randomly or some shit.

What the fuck is this?

This is my fetish and I agree with

There's been at least one comic that'd probably be suitable for OP's interests.

...

Of all the things in this that could be baffling, the frog laughing is the most insane to me. Do Russian frogs not croak?

internet intellectuals wouldn't allow it these days.

Japan does it because they Don't Give A Fuck.

Western animation, outside France, would only attract a lot of screaming people. Saying how wrong and harmful it is to the LGBTQWTF community. For a cis male to be cursed with what "brave transsexuals" struggle with every day.

Looks like an adaptation of The Marvelous Land of Oz.

This is a garbage fetish
Ranma 1/2 is the only time it has ever been good

I'm not sure that I would want the show to be 'about' the guy being transformed, but I would certainly be onboard for a show where a main support character has this happen and it sticks for the rest of the shows runtime. Gives you all of the same material, but without it being such center stage for the show.

It its the MC, then either the MC is constantly trying to get changed back (which has the potential to get repetitive and grating, think Ash from Misfile who is just constantly bitching about it all the time) or they eventually come to accept their situation and essentially tanking the character's personal dilemma.

By making this happen to a supporting character, you can have them eventually resolve it one way or the other without it sinking the show, because the show isn't about that.

Does resurrection count as a magic curse?

That's reincarnation user
Get your spells right

Whoops. Sorry not an expert.

>no drawing where fem Arthur gets her ass smacked and all her cloths mystically explode off.

Missed opportunity desu

resurrection > revive
reincarnation > respawn

Okay I get It I fucked up. Just tell me does Tanya count?

I would say no, just because the guy gives no shits whatsoever about the fact that he's a girl. The big deal is that (s)he is smack in the middle of magical World War I.

That book was depressing.

honestly it would be fun to see them just continue on like nothing happened

bonus points if the girl characters are turned into boys

>Guy turns into a chick
>Instead of fighting it, he looks at it like a competition.
>Within a year he's married, has a kid and still manages to keep his figure.

I like Misfile and even I wish Ash would just accept that clothes for women will be more comfortable and fit him better and that no matter what he wears people are gonna look at his tits. I've been reading that comic for a fucking decade and I'm just done with the whole existential dilemma at this point.

When do they go cosmic and pay off on all the trouble in Heaven stuff they've been teasing all these years?

Because it would be predictable as fuck u dickless tard.

Saber?!

I find your choice of OP ironic

I wouldn't mind seeing a transformed male to female just not really give a shit. Like, he's on an epic quest to save the world! Sure, he'd bumble into some awkward social situations for comedic effect here and there, but mostly he's just like "Yea, sure, whatever. I'll wear a dress for the audience with the King. I could not possibly care less. Can we get back to saving the world now?"

Make it the side characters who lose their minds over it.

The over all message being that a person is not defined by the clothes they wear, the way they style their hair, or what they've got inside their pants. A person is defined by their actions. Stop putting so much weight on your appearance and do your best to be a good person.

At the end of the series have the guy stay as a woman. He makes a speech about he STILL doesn't give a shit. He's comfortable with himself and does not care about how total strangers react to seeing him at first glance.

It could be taken as a "fuck you" or a "you're valid just be yourself" depending on how you think about it.

I would honestly enjoy this

>Implying that it would necessarily have a protag who doesn't like sex-changing at will

Does there need to be a message? It can't just be fun?

There doesn't need to be a moment where it's spelled out, no.

I'd like to see more female to male (or female to trap) transformations, because they're pretty much nonexistent.

Ranma 1/2 is good because it would still be hilarious without the gender change aspect. The who aqua-sex-change is just another layer of absurdity of premise.

Wasn't she a woman who just disguised herself as a male?

Even as one-off temporary things

well of course you wouldn't it's an inherently silly premise

I want a Sir Arthur cartoon.

What is this? Googling "Sir Arthur" just brings up stuff about King Arthur.

Make it a series of shorts where Arthur is confronted by a series of ridiculous contrivances that keep him from getting back to his armor and therefore his manhood. Each one ends with him being carried off by a Red Arimer. Imagine Road Runner cartoons except Arthur is Wile E. Coyote and the demons are Road Runner.

In Ghost and Goblins there's an enemy that pops up sometimes that turns Arthur is the maiden pictured in this fan art. He can't fight or do anything while in maiden form.

I'm working on it. Just give me some time

I want tanya to rape me

Oh, okay. Thank you.

Is she going to become that world's Hitler?

Art's a cutie.

das sexis

Do you wish to be a girl, OP?

Kind of surprised it hasn't happened to Wonder Women yet. Being a women is such a big part of her identity, it'd make for a compelling mini-series or sub-plot if she lost that aspect of herself.

Sir Arthur would have been a great serialized cartoon. He is constantly saving people, and every weel has to go through a crazier and crazier area, with sub-par armor.

Each episode with the Magician/Trickster would be one where he transforms for most of the episode. Starting with the Duck transformation, then the baby, then eventually working the way up to the maiden transformation.

That's Japan in the 1990's.

Yes, a bit.

>masochistic
>gender bender

/d/ would be up on it

I guess Shezow flopped pretty hard...

Since this is apparently some sort of R63 thread, requests?

R63 version of yourself.

That was confirmed to just be cross dressing, sadly. The show itself also wasn't that good. WAY too many puns.

That's exactly what is lacking on virtually all sex change stuff I've seen, a protagonist who is actually fascinated with what it's like to be a woman and how to take advantage of that without fucking ximself over.

user, that's not Sup Forums.

Requesting more Maiden Art.

I miss ICS

Any 63 caused by Zatanna is pretty fun.

anons you gotta be more specific

How about Billy saying SHAZAM and becoming a rule 63 Captain Marvel

I would kill for a Legend of Zelda series with TG Link animated by Ian C Samson.

Drunk Zatanna turning her date into a girl for some 'fun'.

Probably why Zatanna has been single for so long in the comics. Word about her would get around fast.

I think he should be the person to do a Western adaptation of Ranma 1/2.

He's got a great style for it, clearly loves the fetish angle, and does pretty funny comedy.

that already exists, user

that's basically just "draw a random girl, and also put zatanna there"

Have Zatanna do rule 63 on Blue Beetle and Booster Gold, since they were being a couple of boobs, and she figures they should probably deserve some.

>clearly loves the fetish angle
I'm praying for the day western cartoons embrace fetishes again instead of social commentary. There are two ways to do a genderswap show and one way is immensely better.

Good. That's such a creepy fetish.
Really all TF fetishes are gross.
I wish they'd fucking stop existing.

Knowing Booster and Blue, they'd probably be shocked at first, they mope for a few seconds, then tease Zatanna that their's are bigger, and claim she's jealous.

It's what was a big part is starting the superhero comics of the golden age. And even the silver age. A lot of fetishes were being lived out on the pages. Early Wonder Woman was the most famous example of this, but there are plenty of other crazy stories too.

Exactly. I mean it's not a coincidence that comic sales plummeted especially hard after equitable representation became the goal rather than giving existing readers boners.

...

This entire event is the main reason we never got a rule 63 Marvel or DC event.

...

Doesn't have an entire event around them yet, or have an amazon's attack type story, where they change the heroes into heroines.

What? What the hell is this?

Isn't that the plot of Orlando? I mean it wasn't a curse, but it was still a guy becoming a girl and having to deal with the perceptions of and for each.

It's EXTREME BABEWATCH from 90's Image Comics.
It was a multi-series crossover, where most the men turned into women. But more effort was put into the covers than the comics, and it was eye-gouging level's awful.

Image is so embarassed that they never even released a trade for it. The comics of the event aren't in the bargin bins, because I am guessing most were burnt for the sake of humanity's future.

Yeah, but you gotta admit those are pretty good covers.

And yeah the event is basically excuse plot for babes, but for what it is I don't think it was horrific... just that they got Liefeld as their head artist.

I was just an excuse for Image to turn their cheesecake quota up to 11.
Actually, I did like the covers. And I've never have found high quality images of them.
But I remember reading an interview with Liefeld a decade ago, where he said he didn't want to do the event.

Such a waste too, there was so much fun stuff they could have done with it. In the characters just turn female for a fight, then immediately turn back, and it highjacks the first third of their finale issue, which did not need to be part of the crossover. They already had too much stuff going on in their.

tg is the fucking best thing

it must suck to be a woman. You're so horny you have to masturbate all the time
