It's "Mission Impossible" + "Van Helsing" Mostly complains are about Monster Universe and Brendanfags crying their "le funny Rick" isn't in it anymore. Movie is pretty cool. /tv tricked me to watch it and I don't regret. It's as stupid as capeshit, but looks way better, with proper sets, stunts and shit. Doesn't feel like CGI greenscreen.

Look we all know the Razzies are wrong but I'm still fine with them shitting on Sony for the Emoji movie. Not because it was the technically the worst film I saw last year but because I've seen the emails that lead to this pile of shit being greenlit and honestly they read like a comedy sketch about stereotypical out of touch execs that think any idea that pops into their head is pure gold.
Also it has TJ Miller in it who is fucking awful, has never been funny or likable and the sooner his career dies the better.

The main problems with it is that it's tonally all over the place. It's too dark for the 'comedy' elements not scary enough for horror and the action isn't exciting enough.
The sidekick soldier character is terrible. He's unlikeable, not funny, serves no purpose in the story and the weird American Werewolf in London thing he has doesn't work. The Dr Jeckyl/Mr Hyde thing slows the story to a crawl and is boring when it should be cool. There's zero chemistry between Cruise and the main girl.
Somewhere there's a decent film in there but it feels like the writing got handed around too many writers and there were too many execs going 'you must put this thin in it...'.
The plane crash scene is intense as fuck and awesome. Deserved a better film.
