That whole ending felt very clunky considering there's no way Mufasa's death could be construed as being Simba's fault. I could buy kid Simba being so scared and upset that he would somehow think he was to blame for his father's death but adult Simba should have easily realized that it was Scar who set him up. I was always bothered by that as a kid.
