My answer depends on if a woman wrote it or not

The name they credit for each episode doesn't mean they wrote the whole thing. There is a team of writing staff that take part in each episode.

So yes, women wrote every episode this season

Yeah. I would have liked it a lot more if they didn't reset the whole thing at the end, but good with the bad it was okay.

Wouldn't it be best to decide that before you found out?

I already forgot that things name and it's been less than an hour since I saw the episode.

I think this is an allegory. Old and jaded Dan Harmon wants to kill innocent TV series with his politics and employment quotas. Young and full of hope Justin Roiland tries to stop him.

It was ok.

Bugs me that they never actually removed the turtle memory

They did. Twice, actually.

Yes, I liked it. I've more or less enjoyed every episode so far. I liked the Mad Max one the least and this one the second least after that, but I still had fun watching it. I think the season has been solid, if this keeps up I'll probably rank it well above Season 2 overall.

Soooo you have ADHD?

The jokes weren't that funny and the only cool bit of info that came from the episode is that Rick isn't as smart/perfect as the rest of the series implies

Well, it proves that Beth is just as bad or worst than Jerry.

That was already established long ago.

Dude did you even watch the first season? Rick fucks up all the time there

I liked it because it felt more light hearted compared to the other episodes

the first half felt kinda weak but once they started showing memories rapid-fire I liked it much better

Rank the season so far:

6>7>5>4>1>8>3>2

I liked it.

Its a LOT better than what I imagine Interdimensional cable 3 would have been. Who knew, writing and planning things work a lot better than improv.

Got em.

It greatly reminded me.

>Porn WHEN m8's?

As said, too bad they did reset the whole thing in the end.
Still better than any interdimentional cable episode, showing more relationships than nonsense garbage.

Yeah but not this season. Every episode was how was the best at everything.

>and the only cool bit of info that came from the episode is that Rick isn't as smart/perfect as the rest of the series implies
Rick makes a shitload of mistakes. What's funny is that the small shit actually gets to him so bad that he's willing to erase Morty's memory of it.

So this is how evil morty happened.

Either:

summer fucked up and loaded ricks memories into morty during that scenario

or

morty was able to only memory blast rick into oblivion, and then recall all his memories.

Okay:

1>7>6>5=4>3>8>2

It lost some steam nearing the end, but overall, I liked it.

Would evil Morty then be actually Rick or a mix of both.

Likely base morty but with ricks uper intelligence memories (or at least memories on how to build shit?)

I'm guessing Morty would get Rick's memories and learn something so awful that would make him incredibly jaded to the point that he would then try to steal his intelligence for his own ends and revenge (likely learning HOW to steal it via another Rick memory).

Thatd ruin him imo. Whats good about evil Morty is that its a Morty that can beat Rick. If its just cause he has Ricks memories thats not as cool

link to mega?

Why do you think evil Morty has any of Rick in him? He doesn't invent or do anything Rick does, the smartest thing we see him do is manipulate Ricks, something most Morty's should be able to do. Our Morty shows he knows Rick well enough to do so in the Vindicators episode.

It feels like you're watching this show for the wrong reasons.
I bet you enjoy the garbage AT became

That's because our Morty is Evil Morty.

I legit laughed at the squirrels and Morty changing the magnet to attract busty women.

Busty redhead women.

He has good taste.

Alarms started to sound when he referred to his campaign manager as "Young Man"

evil Morty is a brain swap Rick. Harmon said Tall Morty/dumb Rick is meta related to the final.

Well obviously, season 1 was written mostly by a few writers, and it was a new show, so they actually had to work on his personality to be interesting. On season 2, they hired more writers, due to how much it bloomed, and his personality began slipping away. The whole thing got really edgy on season 2. And back on season 3. Season 3 hired female writers, and the ever-growing problem of changing the original point of the show just grew some more. You see, the problem here, I think, is that those women are three cancerous word geeks. And since they watch/read stuff that has dumb 1D heroism/anti-heroism in it I suppose they projected it onto him, since they didn't find a show just about a scientist grandfather and his grandson. And obviously, there is the Dan motherfucking Harmon.
Justin Roiland didn't deserve this.

Tall Morty/dumb Rick does not indicate a brainswap. That would be a Rick and a Morty that BOTH have a Morty brain, if a brain exchange is part of it. Evil Morty is niether a tall Morty nor a dumb Rick.

How does Justin not deserve this? He continues to work with Dan.

I like how the tentacle scene with Beth and the tentacles wiping on her boobs with her kids in front of her was basically an invitation for porn. Like they basically made that scene begging for Zone to parody it.

Dan is very controlling, I mean for fuck sakes he ambushes Justin during a live interview over Justin doing a show on his own. Dan's fucking nuts in a real way.

Well she is Rick's daughter. Season 2 and 3 have this thing to prove that Beth is in fact Rick's biological daughter by having all the same flaws shared between them.

yeah, I don't get why people keep sucking off Justin. I thought everyone hated him in season 2, now he's cool again?

It's because of the szechuan sauce, isn't it?

I fucking hate Dan the pathetic, needy piece of shit. He's found that Roiland is an untapped well of ideas and doesn't want to let him go because it will be a long time before he finds someone new to leech off, like Starburns

>for the wrong reasons
I bet you loved season 2 for its stale recycled jokes of season 1, and hate season 3 for its focus on the family dynamics.

fuck you

Some said this was a joke during interview but idk.

It's cause Dan is screaming 1/3rd the US are nazi and we need to kill them and that love isn't real and is "an excuse for evil to control us, we don't need love, we need to be fighting"

I always liked justin, as in before Rick and Morty. Rick and Mortyfags are cancer second only to Harmon fans who don't realise what a pathetic hack leech he is see:

>Don't make me have to do this in front of The Hollywood Reporter next time.
This guy is fucking narcissistic as fuck, I'd feel true fear for those stuck with him with his day to day life.

Don't worry, his wife took the kids and ran

Yeah seriously, only we time we see JR and Harmon is during work hour photos and at conventions. At any other time at interviews/h3h3/game studio roiland is without harmon. It really sounds like season 3 writing was delayed cause they are legit just not getting along.

I haven't seen them retweet each other in ages either.

>for its focus on the family dynamics.
oh wow divorce is so fucking interesting
oh man I sure care about how much rick loves morty and wants to suck his dick
wow this is great
I sure fucking hate space adventures and shit, yeah who fucking likes those sorts of this ooh wee

google

>He doesn't invent or do anything Rick does
He created an entire fortress of Morty's to cloak himself, somehow got a hold of portal guns, created a perfect clone robot of a Rick, and was able to have that knowledge for some reason..?
C-137 Rick, ours, even acknowledges that Evil Rick is so similar in his ways to C-137.

Your opinion is garbage. The entire premise of the show was so they could do any joke they wanted without being held back by gay continuity and shit. S1 capatalised on that and was likely mostly Justin's pre-planned shit with a bit of writing crew and Harmon polishing it.
S2 tried to keep it going but Justin had sat on those s1 jokes forever. He needed more time to get quality S2, he's only one man and the rest of the writers aren't great. Some maybe but not all, and not enough.
S3 is Harmon's baby. It's all about exploring his divorce and new found progressivism by hiring holes to write stupid melodrama that makes him feel a) less lonely now his family has left him b) vindicated in that everyone is awful and it's not his fault people did mean things to him. It's just because they're mean.

Fuck this show is going down the drain. The 50/50 holes/goals ratio is only the tip of the iceberg.

>I want to provide for my family and kids that aren't born yet
I think that this tells us a lot, even if it was a joke. Harmon probably wants to milk Rick and Morty's cash until it dies, so that means if he will get a chance for another season he will grab it. Perhaps Rick's last speech at the end of episode 1 was a jab at his greed, you know the nine more seasons.

A Rick did that, evil Morty just tricked him into doing it. Same what he tricked all the Ricks at the Citadel.

it was ok
certainly not the worst episode this season
but in any other season it would have beef forgetable
6/10
it could have been, i have no idea
thing is going from a show where most episodes are 9/10 to a season of 5s and 4s sucks, its not like the show never did a 5 before its that when it did a 5 there was a great episode before and a great episode after

9>4>3>3>4>7>9>6
lowest season of the show

I don't think you understand how this works.

i didnt, no.

yes, I did like it. My favorite part was with the squirrels, and the after-credits E.T. spoof.

This season had a rocky start, but last 3 episodes were great.

A Rick didn't do any of that. Evil Rick was a Cyborg built entirely by Evil Morty.

it sucks that roiland will probably never top rick and morty since rick and morty is bascially him reusing every single good idea he had in the last decade

1>7>8>6>5>3>4>2

Is this show worth watching?

Evil Rick was a cyborg, the rest is conjecture.

Watch ep 1 and tell us.

I'm a pretty hardcore science fiction fan and enjoyed the first 3 episodes. Is this indicative of the rest of the episodes?

How about you check out some episodes and decide for yourself instead of relying on the opinions of complete strangers

Guess we'll have to wait for it to happen. I think we won't really get a full conclusion on it and it will always just be a slight background plot that slightly affects the main plot of C-137.

well, it's indicative of the rest of the first season, for me the second season was a nosedive with a few standout exceptions to the rule, third season is kind of recovering now but there are only 2 episodes more left.

Thankyou user.

They made the same jokes over and over

This and the citadel episode are the best this season yet.

So I want to point out this isn't our usual Rick and Morty before anyone REEEEs about Rick commenting on dimension hopping again and 'Muh Character development'
This is the Rick and Morty we followed in the Blipz and Chipz and Parasite episodes (who are not our R&M), because of the Mr.Poopy Butthole blink and you'll miss it cameo and because of the easter egg of a tape labeled 'Sleepy Gary' in the Jerry's Mind Blower box.

I thought it was the worst episode of the season

gotta say its my favorite of all the episodes so far, interdimentional tv was never really that good to me but this is gold.

Holy shit user

Some of his old stuff was great. Like Dan Harmon's Batman or Daryl.
Feels like he lost he sense of humor and became an ass in the last few years though.

It smelt like a female writer wrote it.
>Divorced man is OOC just to be incomptent
>A female character picks another female character
>Female character suddenly becomes competent (she couldn't even work that ray gun in that other episode and now she's here saving the day
>Generic feminist writing where the women sits there and sighs as she's being belittled by men
Why does this keep happening?

Sup Forums where every user is a psychologist with deep insights to their favorite writers motivations.

At least I'm not arm-chair

When did media become nothing but brainwashing to you?

I don't know...

Expand

I agree kinda but I've given up on saying anything because the extreme (caricatures or not) sided fags spamming how the feminist writers are the end of the world.

The only thing that truly bugged me was the ending like you said, mainly her calmly being smart and doing all those things

did they edit a few scenes out? Because i cant find the scene with morty using all the red memory vials anymore.

Why isnt mr poopy butthole our R&M thing?

I dunno, that's legit something you need to ask the writers if you ever get the chance.

After watching Dan Harmon's unfunny Nazi rant, I have no respect left for the dude.

Although if I had to guess I assume MPB is probably more of a signal 'this isn't C137' to the audience who delves deeper into the show than the casual audience.

I feel bad about nasa.

9/10 would do again

Honestly yes, the first half of s1 is the weakest so if you already liked that it can only improve from there
