Gearbox, the dev that made Bordlerlands, was also contracted to make Aliens: Colonial Marines around the same time. They just took all the Aliens money and used it to make Borderlands instead leaving Colonial Marines as a steaming pile of shit.

I never understood this meme or why my friends and the general public thought Claptrap was funny. He is literally the Jar Jar Binks of video games. Except I actually grew to like Jar Jar during TCW. Claptrap is nails on the chalk board levels of annoying and he instantly sucks any enjoyment I might be having for the game right out of me.
