wtf did i watch
Wtf did i watch
a bad movie
Duncan Jones completely fucking up his career even with a large budget and no studio pressure
>duncan jones had a career
???
Netflix trying to appeal to "le cyberpunk xd" audience now that the mainstream remembers Blade Runner is a thing
Netflix
really bad movie
There were rumors that Duncan had little input into the final cut of Moon and after watching everything he has done since I fully believe it. Look at this motherfucker's reaction on twitter to the reviews. This is clearly a spoiled brat who got credit for the studio fixing his only good movie and is lashing out against the world for not wanting his "vision." They only did him that favor in the first place because they love his dad so much.
It wasn't that bad, honestly.
>even with
Studios get a bad rep for "messing" with projects but garbage like this is the result of directors going wild with their pet projects
>"it wasn't that bad"
>random movie pedophile has more character development and a better arc than the own supposed protagonist
Someone give me a quick rundown of this movie and is it kino?
>random movie pedophile
He was one of the most significant supporting characters.
It's called exaggeration for humoristic reasons
it was a good movie, i thoroughly enjoyed it. i would fuck luba (but only when we first see him, with that hairstyle and eyebrows [not in a gay way])
Luba is best femboy material ever seen in a movie
some body snatchers snatched the wrong guys bitch and got killed, the body snatchers daughters mother was also that bitch
Movie was alright. Dialogue between Rudd and Theroux's dialogue felt so forced as the movie went on, didn't sound natural at all. Would have much preferred the movie focused more on Skasgard's character but that would have taken much more effort.
Didn't quite get the common complaints from critics so many of them comparing it to Taken was just lazy, I get comparing to Blade Runners aesthetic but they seem to compare it to BRs characters and plot.
Thought Skasgard put in a good performance conveying emotions without words but then again all the pro critics said he looked bored in the movie.
Maybe I just have shit taste after all and should start watching capeshit.
...
Bizarre movie and not kino.
It seems to promote traditional values over the widespread degeneracy of our time, which is shown to continue in future Berlin.
The protagonist is an old school, heterosexual white male who is a fish out of water in a city chock-full of all manner of deviants (homosexuals, transsexuals, pedophiles, etc.).
I interpreted his muteness as an allegory for the "silent majority" type of conservatism where many normal people don't support the deterioration of their societies but are silent because they don't feel like there is much they can do to stop it. He eventually uses violence in his quest to find the woman he loves and to protect a child.
The strangest part is that Duncan Jones is vocally left-wing politically and it doesn't seem like he would make a movie with this theme. It's possible he meant something entirely different, but through ineptitude made the redpilled movie we see.
MUTT
Just a bad sci fi. There are plenty of them
Why do people suddenly expect quality from Netflix?
