What happened?

>Sequel to sci-fi cult classic embedded in the geek/nerd conscious flops hards.

I thought we were in the era of the nerd/geek?

geeks and nerds went to see it, normies not. they prefer capeshit.
irony is, normies were laughing at geeks several years ago for reading capeshit comics.

The movie is shit, fuck off.

People only want marvel/Disney films. Everything else is ignored/a flop

What are these fucking things? all my co-workers have a few, and once has a huge wall of them.

>geeks and nerds went to see it, normies not
This
Blade Runner isn't as popular and liked amongst normies like Star Wars for example.
It's been similar with Star Trek reboot movies.
People may know the franchise and some of its iconic elements but they most likely haven't seen it.

it was a bad movie, only waifu/goose fags liked it because "omg he is just like me" but at least it looked pretty

Suck my dick.

Funko pop, sorta like my first plastic figurine collectable.

typical response from a soy runner fan

>Da mobe wuz bad bcus i sed so

why would you think any of these nerd/geeks are real nerds?

his pants aren't even the right color

Blade Runner is the most overrated movie of all time, I think more people realise that than are willing to say.

Maybe, but Blade Runner 2049 is an improvement over it.

Tried watching this, but Gosling's weird left eye was distracting the fuck out of me.

It made eight times the money that the original did, it just had a pretty big budget it couldn't recover. Sci-Fi, especially Cyberpunk is struggling to make bank nowadays.

I swear modern audiences are even more attention-deficit than even 10 years back. The sheer amount of people leaving the theatre in the middle (on my first viewing) was kinda insane.

2bh I really don't know what these people were expecting when they watched Blade Runner 2049.

The really sad thing is we won't see something like this, with this sort of budget for at least 5 years.

Just Transformers/Comic books/Fast and Furious sequels for another decade.

Big bang theory did this, making every soy normie and their mother thinking «lol i’m kind of a nerd too, i like star wars» now all these franchises are cash machines for soyboys.

Fucking hipsters

Did you need to use soy in that sentence?

Star Wars fanboy detected!
