Korean people

Why can't they run their own shit after all that based Japan has taught them? One Korea is a commie hellhole and the other is a plastic surgery basket case. Should we have let Japan continue owning them after WW2? Was mass migration of Koreans to the US a mistake?

Praise kek

Damn...kek derailed my thread...

Before you make stupid threads like this, learn some history.
When Japan invaded Korea in the late 1800's, they made it their priority to destroy Korean culture. Wipe Korea in to a subservient copy of Japan. Xenocide. They were making progress until WW2 liberated Korea.

After liberation, if Koreans were left alone, they would have rebuilt their country and become a whole Korea again. But Stalin and Truman had other ideas. Korea became a battle ground between the ideologies of Communism and Capitalism.

The Korean people were in no shape to resist the influences of both countries and became torrential grounds for propaganda. Stalin personally trained Kim il-sung to lead a civil war and thus the Korean War began in 1950.

Since then, Korea has both been puppets of Russia and USA. They never had a chance. After the collapse of USSR, North Korea has degraded in to economic disaster, while the South has flourished under free trade support from the U.S. It's pretty amazing that even with all these factors, South Korea has managed to grow to the 12th largest economy in the world in a span of less than 60 years.

TL;DR Korea was shitted on by Japan, USSR, and USA. It's nothing short of amazing that Korea even exists today, let alone be the 12th largest economy.

the nips should try to civilise them again

I don't really buy the argument that Japan tried to destroy Korean culture because the premise that there was Korean culture to destroy is flawed. Korea belonged to china for hundreds of years before Japan and their culture was a Chinese derivative. It only makes sense that Japan would introduce their own culture after ownership was transferred to them, just like how South Korean culture today is American culture with yellow people.

> Korea shat upon by USA
> South Korea flourishing with free trade support from USA

Pick one, retarded faggot

>implying Korea ever had a culture
lol

You only prove your ignorance. Korea was never under China's control in its entire 3000 year recorded history. In fact, it is the only country in Asia that never invaded nor fell to another state in it's entire history. It only fell in 1890's after Japan acquired modern weapons from the west.

>> Korea shat upon by USA
>> South Korea flourishing with free trade support from USA
>Pick one, retarded faggot

You dumb fuck, USA made sure South Korea flourished economically so that they would not rebel but at the same time brainwashed/coerced them in to blind support. If that's not shitting on a nation, I don't know what is.

>vassal state of China
>sent tribute to the Chinese emperor every year
>every Korean king could only be enthroned with the approval of Chinese emperor
>traditional culture of Korea is identical to traditional Chinese culture
>b but Korea never belonged to china!

Okay...

Lol. The Aussie making a comment about culture. True Kek at work. Your nation was LITERALLY founded by sending criminals to an island for imprisonment. You are not even a shadow of a real civilization. Korea has 3000 years of recorded history and 2000 years of history before that. Talk about clueless.

If you don't know what you're talking about don't make random assumptions.

Japan banned Korean names and issued Japanese names during this period, systematically banned traditional Korean faires and demolished culturally and historically significant sites during their occupation.

Just because Korea was a vassal state to China for about 400 years (Korea was mostly independent until the Qing Dynasty invasion) doesn't mean they didn't have their own culture.

Again, don't make comments until you actually understand the history of Korea. China's empire became too big for Korea to effectively fight off an invasion. The king was left with two choices, either go full on war where Koreans would probably all die, or make treaties that kept sovereignty of Korea but at a economical cost. He made the only choice he could.

This tiny nation has been fighting off the imperialistic forces China and Japan for millenias. Why don't you mention all the sea battles Japan lost to Korea before 1890's. Why don't you mention all the battles Korea won before the Qing dynasty?

Blind support? Motherfuckers won't even open their fucking markets to us. And support against who, anyway, you massive massive faggot? Against who? How many S Korean troops help us out in any theater? Ever?

What economic advantages do we enjoy as a result of our saving S Korea from being North Korea?

What would South Korea look like now if Truman had said, "Fuck it. Let em' have it."?

You really don't get it. South Korea not opening it's market to the US is a product of US elitist policy. They're making sure Korea flourishes economically to counteract communist influence from taking over. In other words, South Korea's market is shaped by U.S. policy makers, not the other way around.

South Korea sent 300,000+ men to Vietnam to help America.

Also they sent a few thousand to Iraq and Afghanistan.

Gooks detected

True. Nice argument though, dickcheese.

A quick search supports this. I stand corrected. Thank you.

Isn't it funny how every time a Jap posts about the superiority of Japanese over Korea, they always leave out the battles of General Yi Sun-sin where he defeated 133 Japanese ships with 13 ships. The biggest fuck you in history surpassing the Spanish Armada.

Japs never had a chance until whoring themselves to the white men for their newfangled weapons.

I don't understand how they manage to fuck up religions so bad. The Unification Church (Moonies) and World Mission Society Church of God are both heretical abominations. I wouldn't be surprised if one of those two groups, or a similar cult, is linked in with the 8 goddesses nonsense.

We got your back. It's really 50/50 in Korea. Many people love America, but many people will hate it too. It's a complicated relationship for many complicated reasons.

Just know that the anti Americans are very vocal.

off by one

Seriously, for the 6 gorrilionth time, yes fn yes. If the Axis would've won WW2 and thus ruled anything of note on this planet,

then all of mankind would live in paradise like societies. And we would've made more progress than in most science fiction movies.

But thanks to the retarded Allies falling for the Jewish schemese of either communism (East) or Capitalism (West), this whole damn planet is a stinking shithole full of braindead morons who get dumber with each generation.

Just listen to some Hitler or Goebbels speeches for starters. Those guys describe the CURRENT state of all our problems down to the smallest detail.

Why you ask ? Well because mankind didn't made any fucking progress since the Reich fell. Sure we have fancier phones and our vidya looks better but nothing that really matters got an improvement.

>T. German on vacation to his Axis brothers nation.

They are related to Moonies. And the shamanism that exists long before Christianity in Korea. But it's also the influence of the U.S. that set the course of religion in Korea. After Japan tried to eradicate and reshape Korea in to its image and failed, USA did the same thing by converting Korean to Christianity and manipulating its economic model to that of USA's liking.
Everything that has happened and is happening in Korea are products of external manipulation. Always has and always will be.

Christian groups and fanatics are huge in Korea. They even forced the government to ban porn there. I'm for the decision to ban the (((porn))) Jew but it shows how strong Christian sects are there.

There are literal internet Christian brigades browsing the internet to find porn websites to ban. Yes, they do it for free. Also it's a nationalist issue, because they think Japan porn is "invading" Korea.

Has everyone forgotten all that shit about South Korea being a SocJus totalitarian state with the fortune teller directing president Park and all that in the past few days? Seriously what's going on with that?

I went to a university that was about 10% Korean for my BA. What was weird is that the Korean students would typically enter being pretty secular, but within a month of starting they would always go hardcore evangelical. After the first month of living in a dorm, I remember the common rooms always having Korean Bible study going on and vans showing up on campus to take kids to suburban Korean churches every Sunday morning.

During a semester abroad in England, a roommate invited some World Mission folks into our flat one day and they tried to convince me about Mother God. It was surreal because it was two teenagers with an older woman supervising them who wanted me to convert to their cult. They showed no reaction when I pointed out their entire Mother God cult is based on a translation error and that their interpretation of the Bible has no logical consistency between the Old and New Testaments. They couldn't even say anything back, but instead just looked at me with blank faces and cold eyes, then said I was welcome to come to their reading room to learn more.

The only thing I can figure is that Koreans are an empty people who are subject to fanaticism and yearn to be filled with a greater message, so they fall into fringe religions very easily. It's scary because they're not stupid, but their personalities make them very gullible and fanatical.

I like and or admire most Koreans/ Americans-of-Korean-descent that I've known so I'm worse butthurt when I see em' burning our flag, etc.

Beautiful girls too, btw.

Actually the oldest history goes only to B.C. 300. China goes only until B.C. 1000.
So if you think about it, Korea's history isn't that deep but also it is mainly a colonized country by China and Japan.

Korea's culture is toxic as well. Japan is also closed-minded and reserved but even though Korea has close relations to the US, they don't appreciate what they have done. I didn't like my country the first place but now I have proof that this country sucks as bad as Philippines.

The most powerful Asian country is Hongkong, Japan and Singapore. The big 3

What you said it true but it's quite also same for Americans. I met some mormons in a protestant church in S.Korea and oh boy I feel sorry for them. They keep trying to convert me which I kind of pretend I do. Mormons from US coming to Korea to become a Mormon? I'd say that's some dedication. They can't even use internet, drink alcohol, get laid. Cucks

They are the most soulless of all yellows

>America

Mormons are pretty weird, but most of the ones over here are born into it. They pretty much have their own state, Utah, and are slowly taking over the Mountain West with their high birthrates. How effective do their missionaries seem to be in South Korea? Mormon mission trips are a huge deal in their culture and my understanding is that they're doing rather well in Africa and Latin America.

What seems weird is that Korea has it's own type of indigenous religion (a quick glance at wiki makes it sound somewhat like traditional Chinese folk religion) and a form of Buddhism, but they don't appear to have much dedication. It's odd that I've never met any Japanese people, just to use a comparison case, who have taken to spirituality like some Koreans seem apt to do.
