Depressed Animal Show

What was your guys' favorite funniest moment? Mine was season 1 when Diane and Bojack visited Diane's family
>"THIS IS WHY I TOLD YOU TO WAIT IN THE CAAAAAAAARRR!"

Season 2 episode 11, easily.

>YOU'RE DISGUSTING!
>AHH, That's what I needed-

>"let's do the show with the horse, but without the horse!"

Mfw I realized the episode didn't have the horse in it.

>In your face, dad!
>(Mourning) in your face forever...

I really like how the episode, the song following the last scene always works pretty well
>Bojack saying Sarah's name in the planétarium
>Pc revealing that she was imagining her grand-grand-daughter
>His mother saying "Bojack?" At the nursing home

>"What, you want me to call this woman on the phone?" [gasp]
>10 minutes later
>"Well, you just had another anxiety attack."
>"And Entertainment Weekly said I wasn't consistent."

The joke about Herb surviving Cancer and shouting about how he'll live forever, right before dying when a truck of peanuts almost kills him, but he survives that only to die to a peanut allergy. It's funny, because he's a gay that's allergic to nuts.

Show would be so much better withoit the human characters, they fucking suck

>Where's the ignore button on this thing.
>I don't think pagers have an ignore button.
>Well then what am I supposed to do if I want to ignore her message?!
>I think you just...ignore it
>WITH WHAT, MY MIND?!

This

Bojack making Hollyhock's ringer ID a fucking eightball because of the amphetamines killed me. It was just the right gag between the sad bit and the uplifting bit. just a nice quick jab of dark humor.

>They belonged to a PEDOPHILE MURDERER
>...Well, if you've gotta murder somebody
>No, not a pedophile murderer, a pedophile/muderer!

>Okay, what if we got relevant superstar David Copperfield to make the World Trade Center disappear?
>Uh, I hate to be the one to break this to you, but…David Copperfield isn’t really a big draw anymore.

What does the eightball mean

What does google mean

Eight-ball, street slang for one-eighth ounce of powdered cocaine, amphetamine, or other illegal drug.

I love the fact Bojack would consider that the most memorable thing about her and use it for her ringer. Now I wanna go back and see what he uses for everyone else.

Also I want to go back and rewatch some episodes but I don't wanna go back through the entire series. What episodes from previous seasons are the best for standalone viewings?

Also, if you were showing someone the series for the first time, what episode would you start them on? Since a lot of people (myself included) agree that the first few episodes aren't the series' best. I was thinking episode 8(?), the PC focused episode that ends with "Happy Birthday Princess Carolyn. You are 40."
IT'S ABORTED

Did season 4 have a f-bomb? I think I missed it

Yes, but they kind of throw it away

Lots of people missed it. Bojacks says it to Hollyhock that he wants for Beatrice to recognize him so he can say Fuck you, mom

It's when Bojack explains his plan to stage a live performance of Horsin Around at the nursing home to Hollyhock.

Incidentally this was a massive clue that he was never gonna say it, as that would've broken the rule.

-Is mother okay?
-She is now. She just let her womanly emotions get the better of her. Nothing a little operation couldn't fix.

-Operation?

-What's broken in the heart can never be repaired but the brain, well we have all sorts of science for the brain.
-We were quite lucky Beatrice. We found a fine fellow named SHADMAN that was willing to help fix your mother right on up.
-She's a brand new woman now and she'd like to meet you very much.

>"Be nice to the orphans! A lot of them grow up to be psychopaths."

>SHADMAN
Someone needs to go through this season to see if they can grab a screencap of Princess Caroline's boyfriend walking out a door.

...

Man if Crackerjack hadn't die the Sugarman family might have been happy.

Then again Beatrice's dad was always a dick and he could have done something else to fuck things up.

if you look at the situation objectively it's clear the the Jews are responsible for the fate of the Sugarmans.

Yeah why did they have to go and peace off hitler?

*Ding*

Why does Beatrice start freaking out when Bojack and Hollyhock act in front of her?

Princess Carolyn's a ball of yarn, Mr. Peanutbutter's a fire hydrant, etc.

Easy.

-Mother? It's Beatrice

...

...

-WHAT DID SHADMAN DO TO YOU?!

I love the bit from the '07 flashback where BoJack's idea of a thoughtful gift for Princess Carolyn is a box filled with crinkled up tissue paper... And it actually DOES turn out to be a thoughtful gift, because PC is, in fact, a cat.

They broke the rule in the first season.

I fucking hate this retarded "look at me I'm a detective using meta logic!" shit. There never was a fucking "rule", season 1 had more than 1 F-bomb. Even if there WAS a "rule" it's worthless because at any time they could decide not to follow it anymore, just like they did in season 1 assuming there was a "rule" to begin with.

Here you go senpai

Did BoJack's grandma get a lobotomy? What the fuck?

i can't get over how spot on these edits are.

What does don't be a dick yes I get it is 4chins but get your head out of your moms gaping vagina for a moment goddamn.

Beautiful, ty user

Sometimes I understand why there are people who just want to see the world burn

Thanks for the compliment user. I could probably do some more Shadman edits with Bojack Horseman characters if anyone in this thread wants them

Do some Sarah Lynn in the Planetarium.

In general, Beatrice was hillarious. And cruel. The fact that she actually was as evil as Bojack said, but at the same time she never had a chance to be a good person
On a related note, where will Bojack go from here? As a person, he's a good person he will ever be, and at least from the last episode, he is actually really sweet. Maybe next season will focus more on Mr PB and Diana, their relationship really can't last much longer

She must get pregnant.

If you could do the Girl Croosh boardroom that would be great

Fucking 10/10

It's not really getting pregnant that's the problem,it's keeping the baby to full term.

I'm a dumbass user. I'm sure you meant the pic on the bottom but my editing skills are only so limited. There's technically a planetarium in her music video I could work with,if you still want her to be in a ''planetarium''

That's fine.

I don’t think BoJack is all that funny apart from clever animal puns. There are a lot of “jokes” that are just the writers’ opinions read with snark as if to say “Wow, some people actually believe this, isn’t that crazy?”

They are much much better at character drama than they are comedy.

It did but it was so organic to the dialogue a lot of people missed it

One of my favorite little gags in the show was the dumpy tuba music that played every time Mr. Witherspoon was on screen. I'll miss the character if only for that.

>PC re: Vincent: can you imagine this body in a bathing suit?
>BH: I literally cannot

You would like that, Richard, wouldn't you?

How would the characters in Bojack Horseman handle making The Punisher tv show?

"Because parties are fun?"

PC will try to make bojack be frank.
Diane will be a bitch, as always, and try to get bojack drop the role, thenoh my god I'm holding a gun!

Could Bojack pull off being Frank?

Brooding and self loathing is down to a T

He doesn't seem to have the conviction or the righteous anger though. Could probably work at it and get it down though.

...

Everyone show me some of your favorite visual gags

-He made me younger sweetie. Don't worry I'm better now.

To be fair, she was being very hysterical. It had been more than a year since CrackerJack's death, and her daughter needed stability which mr Sugarman couldn't provide

>"We're Vietnamese."
>"We're American as pho!"

Can someone explain to me why Cat has not killed Horse and started devouring him?

I think most people assumed it was because she had eight fathers.

>Gee Holly, why did your mom give you Eight Wieners?

I love the jokes that take a simple, stupid joke and stretch it out way too long to where it becomes funny.

Creating a collage of every Mr. Peanutbutter custom banner would take forever.

...

>the tropical themed trenchcoat

my favorite of his

DON'T SAY MY NAAAAAAAME

>CONGRATS ON GETTING ELECTED!
>and if he loses write Sorry Chuck

Today I remembered S1E11.

>Wait, is that your gun-shaped lighter or your lighter-shaped gun?
>Busted! It's just my lighter.
>[Gunshot]
>Shit! I guess it's my gun.
>Then what did I do with my lighter?
>And what did I give to that baby?

Who was the one that wrote these banners?

Probably Randy.

That scene was so nice, back when women knew their place instead of the degenerate whores they've become. We need to go back.

...

-Be strong. You don't want to end up like your mother now,do you?

yeah but most people assumed wrong. Why, just because it has an 8 on it? That doesn't make any sense. Why not use literally anything else, or just the number 8?

Makes more sense he'd torture himself using the 8ball to remind himself of her getting drugged.

>only 2 weeks since season 4 came out
>threads are already basically dead

I liked season 2 the best and I remember that we talked about that for over a month on Sup Forums. I also feel like season 2 generally have a better plot than the subsequent seasons and was more involved in Bojack's actual career as an actor with Secretariat, whereas anything involving work was kind of an afterthought at the very end with Princess Caroline's new show.

Also now that I think of it seasons 1 and 2 connect a lot better.

I think the earlier seasons were funnier. Also Todd being wacky was funnier in general, season 4's clown thing that he was doing just got kind of weird.

Crackerjack dying hurt Beatrice and did lead to her father to have her mother made surgically retarded but considering how her family was and how her father was I think she would have been fucked up no matter what just because of the way her father treated her.

I mean it's not like Crackerjack surviving the war would have changed her father trying to push Beatrice into an arranged marriage with the creamery guy.

If they had written the story so that Crackerjack survived they'd probably end up with an episode where Bojack's cousin who inherited the sugarman business comes to town and is a genuinely nice person but Bojack dislikes him because his grandfather always liked his cousin better and whatever and Bojack would have to get over his baggage about that.

Really the plotline would be kind of predictable. Crackerjack's death didn't really change the overall direction the show would have gone.

So in episode 12 the envelope with Hollyhock's picture ends up with Beatrice because the address on file for Henrietta is still back from when she was living with the Horsemans? Isn't that stretching things a little too far?

>that episode with Bojack's self-hating inner monologue
That hit way too close to home for me.

What do you faggots think of Randy?

I thought it was great how Tom was happy to see him when he got back from the hospital.

God damn this scene.
