THE SIMPSONS ARE GOING TO GIVE THE CAT A SPOTLIGHT

*yawn* Tell me when Sneed and Chuck return.

>where are my testicles Lisa?

Gaiman as a cat?

It's been done.

For once Simpsons didn't do it

Please don't tell me this is arthur.

Well, if it's that important to you, I won't.

MATT DAMON

But he's already been on Zombie Simpsons like twice.

I assume this is going to be a Coraline parody, 8 years after Coraline was relevant

I seem to recall reading they wanted to make him smart but the puppet kept coming out looking retarded.

>8 years
good lord no

That will never not slay me

>300 percent

Goddamn

Lisa looks pretty taken aback, there. I refuse to believe that's the first time she's seen cat anus

I thought Snowball was a girl.

What in the name of Christ is this url?

A twitter one.

Oh wait it's like that because it came from gizmodo.

but snowball is female, also isn't this parody like too fucking late? what happened to originality?

Some parodies don't come with time limits.

>Simpsons did a King Kong parody 59 years after it released
>Nobody bats an eye

>advertising a guest voice
remember when guest voices were a fun surprise and not clickbait for scummy news sites?

Everyone knows it, when was the last time you met someone who even heard about Coraline?

I named my daughter Coraline

You would rather they go back to parodying Hunger Games and Kingsman like last year?

He's a smart man. And I'm continually amazed at how well he handles publishers, he lied in his resume for DC, put a bunch of fake books to his name and so DC let him start writing.

>8 years after Coraline was relevant
>after

Next you will tell me Good Omens isn't relevant

let's face it, the simpsons writers are a dry well. they can't write anything good and resort to parodies and pop culture references after pop culture references that in the end make no sense.
>but the simpsons always had pop culture references
yeah, sporadically, sometimes in the background and the whole episode didn't revolve around it and didn't have to explain the joke.
even fox lat. stopped re runing the new season episodes and now they only have classic simpsons specials all the time because no one wants to see the new episodes.

The THOHs have always been mostly parodies, though. It's just that as time went on, it became more and more random movie parodies and fewer actual horror parodies. That's why the fact that this year's spoofs are of actual creepy/horror movies (and the one original segment is creepy in its own right) is cause for hype.

Sweet, he's one of the best guest stars.

This special has potential.

cute

Incidentally, this is a bit of a milestone. It took them 20 years, but they're finally doing a story that the comics already did.

At least they never did the comics' Carrie spoof. That thing was...weird.

>features Lisa
Oops, back at square one.

They're on their 3rd or so Snowball now. A plot of one of the shows was Snowball died but they found an identical cat and named it Snowball, while Armin Tamzarian called it a cheat.
