Americanization

>British made cartoon
>American voice actors

Why does the U.S. do this?

You can understand our writing, humour and plot lines but you can't understand the accent?

You can't empathise/relate with a character due to them not being American?

Thought Nicole's VA was a brit. Huh.

>shoddy American version of beloved British show

She is.

Gumball X Tina would've been a better, more interesting ship

>British person doing an American accent

Cos americans canna intee accents, wor bairn.

>terrible composite animation
Why do the bongs do this?

I didn't know Anglos had that problem as well.

I don't get it

Brits are able to do an American accent SO much easier than vice versa.

If the Brits made the cartoon, then isn't it them who are doing it?

they handle greenbacks fairly often and have a typical 50s american household so they are probably just trying to sell thr american illusion

its probably for international appeal

Despite speaking the same language, Spain uses different translations than Latin America.

But the show isn't dubbed, those are the official voices.

>>British made cartoon
Not completely friend, it's made in some parts of Europe as well. I'm pretty sure that the primary recording studio is in the US.

They're pretty good at a generic American accent, anything else sounds awful though.
Americans have no respect for IPs even their own. Just stop watching the shitty watered down American version of things.

>>American voice actors
Pretty sure only Gumball, Darwin and Anais' VAs are American.

The rest are Brits, recorded in Britain.

Holy shit, all that grain.

How would he fit that dick?

Don't you mean why do Brits do this? They made the call to get American VAs.

>international appeal
This.
People in general are just much more familiar with american accents as the default for english so accents of other kinds can be somewhat off putting for most audiences.

>Made in the UK
Really? I'm quite surprised. most of the pop culture references are more americanised.

Nicole's VA is british

honestly gumball would be awful if it was set in a british school. Seriously it would just be everyone is scouser accents or people with stereotypical EVENING GUV WOT WOT voices.

this image has been through hell

He goes inside and jacks off.

I think most Americunts can understand the accent, we just find it grating.

...

Animation is done by the UK but the writers are murrifats

A better example of American bastardization of an animated flick would be Doogal

>Replacing Robbie Williams, Tom Baker, and Bill Nighy
Now who would do something like that?
