The comic also does a better job at making me like both Beth and Jerry more than the main show. But I feel that the comics write Rick, Morty and Summer worse than the main show with the exception of some of the AU Rick and Morty stuff and Rick pushing Morty through the portal and the Rick wasn't Rick all along (that bit where Rick had started the conflict was a massive blueball though).
The art in the comics is shit compared to the average manga art, though. The main artist is fine if not bland but some of the others look like someone did a 5 second doodle with their tablet and filled it in in paint, they didn't even bother cleaning up the lineart.

There's also that massive blueball with the fascist detector. Morty should have scanned himself and came up with 100%, as I think C137 Morty has the potential to be as bad as Evil Morty.
