That was pretty kid friendly. 40K if being done properly would not be

Dude, stop.

>40K
Warhammer Fantasy, you illiterate mong.

the clone wars was terrible. but id watch a show where a dark elf woman sex's up her son all the time, while at the same time plotting to kill him and take his crown

Fuck all cgi shitshows and fuck you

>the clone wars was terrible
Nah, it was pretty good. Don't believe the memes.

Id watch the f out of that not gonna lie.

No but a He-man styled over-the-topness 2D big budget cartoon could work

You mean a handrawn series in the style of Gargoyles right? If that's what you meant, then yes.

>the violent fantasy spinoff of the series that spawned the term "grimdark" would make a great Saturday morning cartoon
Are you the creator of Coldsteel The Hedgehog, by any chance?

Could work. I'd personally really like it if it was less about the mighty heroes leading grand armies to decide the fate of the world and more of the lower key adventuring you see in the RPGs, some of the novels and comics like Tales of the Ten-Tailed Cat. Mordheim: The Animated Series, that sort of thing.

>fantasy
>Spinoff

God I hate 40kids

>Calarts Fantasy

Do it.

Yeah its pretty good if you are under 11.

One of the reasons I brought up the Clone Wars was because of how it jumps between plot lines featuring the big uber army leading heroes, the grunts, and the scumbags of the setting. A multi-tiered show that jumped from Tyrion wrecking shit to a gang of normal Empire dudes pillaging through Mordheim would be pretty cool.

To be fair, it's fairly normal to think the one you hear about first is the one the came first, because to you, in your mind, it kinda did. Not to mention without any motivation to check, you simply would't really be concerned about it. Like that one article that claimed dawn of war 2 was ripping off Blizzard.

No because Warhammer, fantasy or 40k is a flaming trash-pile of autism with no narrative plot in any way that isn't a wheel turning on itself unto infinity.

That fact that people enjoy this let along commit a large part of their life to it is concerning considering the most rational response upon waking up in those worlds would be to immediately kill yourself.
Its trash, the lore is trash, the concept is cyclical nihilistic trash.
There is no moral to warhammer, there is no story there is nothing human. Its dick slapping action figures against each-other, which is fine but don't pretend its something its not.

No, because Lucas was literally pumping a million dollars into each episode of TCW. The show ran at a loss.

...

>To be fair, it's fairly normal to think the one you hear about first is the one the came first, because to you, in your mind, it kinda did.
That's true, but if you check the first post you'll notice its still retarded to read the OP and assume its talking about 40k.

...

Only if it focused on the Jedi of Warhammer, Bretonnian Grail Knights.

Pshhh.....

Screw CGI. Make this shit like Gargoyles. Then have it follow a group of Tomb Kangz.

>To be fair, it's fairly normal to think the one you hear about first is the one the came first, because to you, in your mind, it kinda did.
Yes, it's called "being a mongolic", and not the kind who goes roaming the steppes precisely.

...

What memes? Most people acknowledge that it was pretty good.

Teclis (and his travelling companions) is the only real Jedi-like character in Warhammer.

>Magic powers
>Master Swordsman
>Travels the world helping people

Grail Knights ain't shit

Tomb kings got squatted a little while ago. They aren't getting jack shit.

that word doesn't mean what you think it means, genius.

He said Fantasy, not Smegmar.

I'd like it as long as the more isolationist factions get proper oh shit moments.

>main character's group walking through the wilderness when the scout finds some wood elf markings
>group members who have met with high elves think it's a good thing
>queue wild hunt where the party is less interested in beating the enemy so much as surviving being hunted down like deer

>ork hits roof
>not a single fuck given

Even on Clone Wars there was a subtle kind of humor that I don't think that fits Warhammer.

Genndy could do an amazing fantasy show, but Warhammer is not his style. What are our other options with Western creators?

>cgi
He was referring to the 3D Clone Wars show

Yeah, who would do something like that, am i right?

Underage very confirmed.

t butthurt trekkie.

>Mummies alive
>it was shit.

I'm going to go ahead and call you a faggot and give you your (you)
HOWEVER
The best part of WhFB story wise has always been the rpg and some of the books, (read Gotrek and Felix). And those always back off from the Grimdark angle quite a bit.

>main character's group walking through the wilderness when the scout finds some wood elf markings
>group members who have met with high elves think it's a good thing
>queue wild hunt where the party is less interested in beating the enemy so much as surviving being hunted down like deer

Pic related

>Spinoff
By Sigmar No!

...

yes

Morathi may be many things, but she wasn't a would-be usurper. She really did have deranged belief that only her son could lead elvenkind to ultimate victory.

You've clearly never read or played anything WHFB related. Compared to 40K it's a much mellower and more consistent setting - possibly one of the best high fantasy settings around, actually.

Probably not. Fantasy was a world made to support wargames, so the setting itself is set up for that.

If you were putting together a show like this you'd need characters from all the different races of the world - what's the point of having elves if you can't sell one of them on mugs and as a doll - so you'd want an elf, a human, a dwarf, etc. You'd also want a mage or two to explore magic. So something like pic-related.

The problem is that according to the background lore, pic-related wouldn't work. A dwarf and an elf would NEVER travel together. Elves are far too stuck up, dwarves hold grudges forever. The mages' heads would explode during the third episode.

And if you ignore all that, and still go ahead with it, you still just end up with a stock-standard fellowship-of-the-ring fantasy adventure. Yes its based on the Holy Roman Empire instead of Arthurian stuff and it has a few interesting visuals based on Warhammer art, but its still basically the Hobbit with guns.

So no, a show like that wouldn't work.

Don't remember this one.

That's why making it on the style of Genndy's Star Wars is better, having multiple episodes with different characters telling their perspectives of a bigger conflict.

You are implying that every race needs contestant representation in the main Cast as a protagonist. The fact that Orkz have become one of Poster boys for Warhammer 40k alongside Space Marines shows that this is not necessarily true. And while 40k is not WH Fantasy, that does not mean you cannot portray other races in a fun or endearing light while still having them as antagonists. And this is ignoring the fact that most Factions in Fantasy are much less likely to shoot each other in the dick out of petty spite, and can have somewhat amiable, if temporary, interactions and alliances.

>The problem is that according to the background lore, pic-related wouldn't work. A dwarf and an elf would NEVER travel together.
That's not and never been true. They don't get along, but they can cooperate in a tight pinch.

And the expansion
