The fact is, that they are somewhat soft right now. But they do want to completely halt and deport.
They also want to retake citizanships from people who have come the last 5 years and give them NON permanent, so that they have to go back in the future.

It's a start, and it could do some good - but it feels like it's too little too late.
That is to say they even get into power and manage to pass all of it, considering all of the other political parties are rallying against them.
I'd absolutely love to see them succeed, and I'm trying to stay as optimistic about it as possible (despite the somewhat defeatist opinion above), because it also has an impact on their neighbors and their policies.

I wouldn't say it is. Our policies are fairly bad, and we're turning more into Sweden every year it seems.
We're certainly not one of the better countries at the moment, and every time I hear or read someone talk about Finland in the positive manner (specifically anti refugees and such) I don't see it reflected in reality.
That doesn't mean there aren't some good people speaking up against what's going on, though, so at least we have that much compared to, say, Sweden or so.
