Watching season 4 right now

And it still hasn't changed how much I hate him. Jesus Chris I hate him! I don't think I've ever hated a main character who isn't meant to inherently be a bad guy like this before what the fuck?! Please tell me he gets a bad endgame. He never fucking learns from his mistakes or is punished. Even season 2 Mabel didn't piss me off this much.

I think you posted the wrong picture because you're obviously talking about Bojack.

Mr. Peanut butter is perfect.

Are you blind? He obviously meant to post Todd.

>Never learns or gets punished
t. never watched the show

He's a great guy/dog

youtu.be/UVSDSwgfirI

Just watched episode 9. Man, that ending was bummer.

They even had a scene in Season 2 where Diane says she wants to grow and change and Mr. PB wants to stay the same until very end.

Todds a pushover not a selfish ass hat like Peanut Butter

Also to everyone who was saying whoever thought Todd wasn't asexual last season BTFO BITCHES I'm not the idiot, you are! (fist emoji ect)

What I wouldn't give to shove my dick up his tight muscular fudgehole while wearing his sunglasses.

I think you meant to post that on e621. Were you on the wrong tab?

>He never fucking learns from his mistakes or is punished

He's been married twice, both times to women who were emotionally abusive and took advantage of his kind nature. Diane seemed like a genuine move in the right direction, but the more it becomes clear that they don't actually understand or respect each other that well, the clearer it's becoming that she's going to be Divorce #3.

He's gotten NOTHING but bad endgames. That's kind of the whole point to his character, he's like BoJack in that way- very successful career, more material wealth than he could spend in a lifetime, but he can't stop his personal relationships from falling apart. The only difference is that Mr. PB handles it by being upbeat, while BoJack goes in the opposite direction.

PB is the best person on the show

OP is a raging faggot like always

Do you think she took the knot?

He's called Mr Peanut Butter because that's how puppers are coerced into giving humans oral.

True story.

What the fuck sauce now

No, user. Not sauce. Peanut butter.

You knock that off

season 4 just makes every single character more unlikable
even the characters they try to "redeem" are just proven to be fucking monsters

I think it would be really neat if Diane died.

By pretending to be upbeat*

If he was actually handling it by being upbeat he wouldn't be bringing up shitty things in arguments all the time.

The bell Room was his bad endgame.

It was the last straw in a series of monumental fuckups.

Most of his character flaws come from him being a genuine idiot though. Most other characters in the show don't have that crutch, they end up doing bad things due to selfish impulses and the like.

>bad endgame
He'll just find another wife if this doesn't work out. Shouldn't you be more worried about Diane becoming a cat lady?

can't be mad at someone who is basically just like my dog.

>By pretending to be upbeat*
>If he was actually handling it by being upbeat he wouldn't be bringing up shitty things in arguments all the time.
He genuinely seems upbeat most of the time. Naive and upbeat. He only seems to get nasty with Diane, which really just shows that she's not good for him.

he was mad at himself one time

Who knows, a lesbian relationship with Princess Caroline might shut her the fuck up.

She got pregnant. She absolutely took the knot.

Waiting for him and Diane to break up, Diane to freak out, try to rebound on Bojack and then Bojack express that he's over her.

do you think this was a one off thing, or do you think he has this reaction everytime Bojack/others spurn his friendship and it just isn't shown?

Well, he seemed to realize during the gameshow bit that the issues between the two of them might not just be because of himself. But then he quickly forgave Bojack anyways.

He and Bojack actually get along OK this season. Despite Bojack showing up after a year completely blitzed and begging for help, PB gladly helps him and then he and Bojack have a touching moment over drinks.

Once you realize his flaws are based on the personality of a regular dog it's kind of funny

>when Bojack finds out that her mother puts the weight loss pills in the coffee
She had a whole episode about her fucked up life after that and I couldn't feel any sympathy for her.

The point of the bell room scene wasn't to out Mr. Peanutbutter as a fuckup, it was to remind you that Diane hates grand gestures.
The whole reason she agreed to marry him in the first place was because she reacted nervously to the grand gesture

Was that supposed to make you sympathize with her or not? I mean, it kind of made me sympathize with her mother. But it just made Bojack's mom seem more like a lost cause.

They need to another Mr.PB and Bojack focused episode.

>Bojack and Carolyn
>More unlikable
Literally how?

Carolyn's necklace is a fraud and I just can't forgive her for that.

>MISS-A CARRIE!
these fucking writers, I swear.

What are you on about? You can't forgive her for still wanting to wear something that is still incredibly sentimental to her?

Is that supposed to be a sin on her part?

yes!!! i thoguht it was real gold!!

Well boo fucking hoo you materialistic fuck.

So did she. We all thought it was. It also still made her who she is and if she was going to discard it, it would like discarding a piece of her self.

I will give bojack's mom the benefit of the doubt, maybe the scene where her doll was thrown into the fire, and the outcome of her mom's lobotomy really scarred her for life, and she is now unable to feel love. What she did that was so intolerable was how she forced her problems onto other people. She treated bojack terribly as a child (her husband made all the money, and she insisted on getting a maid, so she didn't even do anything all day. She had all the time in the world to focus on controlling her behavior), she forced the maid to give her child up for adoption (it doesn't even make sense that she would do that, she didn't suffer from balancing a career and raising a child. She would only do that because she thinks that her own life is fucked up, so why would she just assume the maid feels the same way?), and how she put the pills in the coffee (why is she stuck in the past in terms of body image, but she also thinks mothers should pursue their careers?)

Da fuq are you on about? PB is jut a good guy.

Diane is irredeemable in every aspect of her character.

I love this show, impossible to get people into though because the first couple of episodes are really weak in comparison and put people off.

Yeah I actually quit watching after the few first. Wasn't impressed. Went back after this season came out and cherrypicked a bit and now I respect it more.

The problem with PB is that he's actively trying to be happy whilst surrounded by a bunch of self-loathing losers. That's sort of Carolyn's problem too remaining loyal to a guy like Bojack.

Granted, he doesn't listen and things don't register with him entirely. But he's not going to win with Diane because Diane doesn't know what she wants. She would prefer PB support her unconditionally while she figures it out, but this is essentially how PB's other two marriages fell apart (only they knew what they wanted and expected PB to foot the bill in the process.)

posting best girl of the season

It's also how they make dogs look like they're talking in movies, which I didn't think about until you said that, so thanks

I hate everyone on the show except Bojack.

Who else cried like a baby?

Bojack had every right to treat her the way he did after what she had put her through, but in the end, he still had enough compassion to indulge her fantasy.

The characters in this show are mostly very well written.

>She would prefer PB support her unconditionally
Problem being the fact that she wants to be supported unconditionally but will; rip PB apart everytime he does something that she doesn't like.
She's a goddamn hypocrite and a tartuffe.

Everyone takes the knot.

Bojack is just as shitty as everyone else and is sometimes even worse. Why don't you hate him?

No. Though not because of the reason you're thinking. People have asked Bob-Waksberg about how the animals work anatomically and he basically said that with the exception of the head and skin/fur, the animal people are basically human anatomically. However, this explanation isn't completely consistent with some scenes. Like the ''more horse or man'' joke that the manatee made or Bojack being 1200 pounds, which would imply being built like a horse i.e. horse organs. So yeah, take it with a grain of salt.

You have been visited by the Diane of freakishly long necks. Reply to this post or she will fly into your kitchen tonight and make a mess of your pots and pans.

>Actually unironically hating Mr. PB
I think you're just autistic

He probably had a sudden mental image of Sarah lynn and horse cock and tried to head off the horror.

They're more like animals whenever it works for a joke, and human the rest of the time. Like making gags about whether Diane was going to have a litter, references to BoJack's weight, and all the goofy background jokes that play off of animalpeople.

>there are people who who hate Mr.Pb

guess he's too Chad of a dog for ya

Just imagine all the eating pussy puns we would get

Your good boye is going to become a bad dawg just wait and see

She douse deserve it for being the worst person on the show

No, he won't. He'll just throw himself into another relationship right after Diane, because he takes the first person who will love or have him. Like a rehomed dog. Hopefully he's not too broken after being continuously rehomed.

Diane's an interesting character, but most of the people who sympathize with her over Mr. PB make no sense in their arguments. I'm not saying you can't sympathize equally, but she actively does fucked up things and the narrative is lucky enough that the only person who could call her out on them, her husband, is quiet and accepting. He basically expects barely anything of her other than to stay with him and love him, yet she has conditions and standards. Which is fine and normal and she should, but it makes it easier to see the impact of what he does to her rather than what she does to him.

Anyway, most of my sympathy goes out the window when I remember Diane is about 38 years old and still throwing tantrums and having an identity crisis every other day.

I'm genuinely worried that this third divorce is going to brake him. A third failed marriage sounds like it might be to much for him.

Yeah. But at the same time it's clear he and Dianne don't really work long term. Hopefully he finds a happy ending before the show is out, out of all the characters save maybe Princess Carolyn he is the most deserving.

i love him as a foil character

>He never fucking learns from his mistakes or is punished
>believing in Plato's morality
I don't think this is your kind of show user.

When he found out that Diane slept with Bojack and had a breakdown on the show. That was pretty fucking hardcore. Plus having to put up with Bojack on the show and being forced to "wrap things up" in a few minutes. That was pretty soulless and and heart-crushing.

People only hate Todd now because he finally stood up to Bojack after being the one that went with his bs the most. I guess it just hits too close to home for them.
I do agree that he's become a bit of a non entity. even the Todd Episode was lackaluster

He's obviously going to die.

I think it's just Bojack. Bojack is the only person who doesn't instantly love him, which drives him to seek his approval, and in turn give substantially more consideration to who Bojack actually is as person than Mr. PB gives practically anyone else.

I feel like the only person who liked the first few episodes
The dumb animal jokes fucking sold me on the show

Diane never slept with BoJack; he kissed her and it was awkward.

Oh shit

But was his show better than Horsin' Around?

Bojack is 53 and does the exact same thing.

Oh I liked them enough to keep going. I just didn't think it was anything special until it started to pull away from just comedy and became a dramady. Ironically enough making it funnier now too as much of the humour comes from the characters.

The guy's being facetious

...

Do you think Penny actually got messed up from seeing bojack again in Ohio?

Coming on to an old man because you’re horny is one thing, and maybe something she can blame on herself.

Having that same old man apparently stalk you half way across the country is another

I think Sarah Lynn was onto something. Having him show up out of nowhere would be even creepier from her perspective.

Honestly that whole series of events made bojack irredeemable to me

I think you meant to post Todd

This. Todd was my favorite character and now he's just kind of nonexistent. I like the idea of axolotl gf but I'm wondering if they're going to make todd aromantic too.

I don't understand this logic. Literally when has Todd make a mistake and not learn from it. In fact usually he gets pushed around and takes care of everyone's mistakes.

All I could think about was my Grandmother.

It's not supposed to justify how horrible she is, just show why she is so horrible.

The bigger problem is that he just hasn't been good in the last two seasons. Also, he's not sympathetic at all in the reason he stood up to Bojack and if anything was the one in the wrong in that situation, so it was weird timing.

I'm not the only one who wanted Todd and Sarah Lynn to develop more of a relationship right? Not even in a romantic way, I generally wanted to see them together more often. Though I wouldn't mind if they became a couple. Any draw fags here?

>wrong in that situation
But Bojack needed that redpill.

>t.Diane

>tfw she lies about tasting the ice cream
