Ron and Bernie

Why did so many Ron Paul supporters from 2012 also support Bernie Sanders in 2016?

Like who?

beats me :S

>why didnt libertarians support a socialist?
are you fucking stupid?

If you have to ask you wont understand .

I voted for Ron Paul in 2012. I would never vote for Bernie Sanders.

they didnt

Read it again big boy.

...

They only want an old white man power structure

Hipster contrarianism.

I've talked to a few Berniebros who said they supported Ron Paul in 2012. They exist.

That graphic is the dumbest thing I've ever read.

Same here.

Opposition to military industrial complex and Citizens United, most likely. Although your infographic is email-from-crazy-great-aunt-tier. The idea that Sanders was telling people what they wanted to hear when the head of Goldman Sachs complained that his rhetoric was dangerous is absurd. No one rattled bankers like Bernie, certainly not anti-regulation Ron.

Ron Paul himself said Bernie was the best choice - while his own son was running lmao.

It isn't

Please explain, genius. Seems spot on to me.

Ron Paul endorsed Bernie Sanders while Rand Paul was still running?
Lies make baby Jesus cry.

>endorsed

Sorry didn't see that word in my post could you find it for me?

Most went to Trump.
The rest are dude weed lmao

They didnt.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say most of them went to Johnson, senpai.

>inb4 Aleppo

He polls close to 10% in every state. You don't think those people shilled for Ron in 2012?

Because muh counterculture.

He answered the question, dumbass

If anything you need to read it again

You're joking right? Johnson is an angsty moron that claims to be Libertarian but is just a typical liberal. None of his policies are libertarian.

What a faggot.

No more Nader fans around eh?

Ron gave up on politics ages ago.
His son Paul still has the fire in him.

*His son Rand

No idea why that would happen. I was a big Ron Paul supporter, but I've been backing Trump ever since he started running.

I supported Ron Paul 2008/2012 but he was an Ayn Rand style capitalist that wanted to audit the federal reserve.
Hence, I supported Trump over Bernie, never supported a Democrat and won't anytime soon. Socialism is not realistic, Ayn Rand style capitalism isn't even realistic but with congress and senate, if Ron Paul were truly elected, he'd have atleast imposed glass steagall and audited the reserve, which would've been effective at clamping down corruption.

I would've supported Rand Paul this time around but he unlike his father is in bed with corporate interests and would've gone absolutely nowhere regardless, Trumps appeal was he was an outsider similar to Paul/Rand but more conservative and not batshit insane in the manner he just wants the federal government to cease existing. His conservative nature shows in the fact that he's not afraid to write it off as a "states right" issue and calls a spade a spade, i.e. immigration stance.
Nonetheless, a bigger benefit of Trump is the fact that his prior fame and fortune made him absolutely impossible to ignore and hide like they did both Pauls.

TLDR; Paul wanted to fight corruption and had a few quacky ideals but ending corruption/collusion was always a big deal for me because it was quite obvious msnbc/cnn became the democrat propaganda stations back in 2006. Ayn Rand capitalism isn't great but Socialism is fucking retarded and Bernie/supporters should en masse hang themselves.

hes asking why libertarians DID support a socialist retard

>what is reading comprehension?
