In the beginning of the episode, the main female character is talking about the wage gap. One of the male characters says that his father says when you take into account maternity leave, women actually do get equal pay (He's not wrong, though there are other factors not taken into account, like position, experience, part-time vs. full-time, willingness to put in overtime, and so forth) but the girl cuts him off and says "stop quoting your Dad's commercials" because his father is a divorce lawyer, and that automatically makes anything he says misogynistic and wrong. Even though in another episode, he says that he also gives representation to women because he's equal opportunity.

What the hell does being a divorce lawyer have to do with the wage gap. Don't women enact most divorces anyways?
