I've got a few questions for the potatoes w/regards to the state of Europe
1) What is the IRA's and the New Sinn Fein's stance on mass immigration?
2)Is Dublin similar to most other European capitals demographically (IE less than 75% native)
3) What do history lessons look like in school w.regards to 1916, the revolution, the IRA? How does that compare to teachings about WW2, Auschwitz and slavery
The last question really interests me as I went to a Catholic school in the UK and in history Jews and black people were the most badly treated victims of all time, and all white people were evil. Yet my parents were Irish Catholic one from NI and other from generations of RA active in 1916 and the Revolution so I didn't buy that that no white people ever had any hardships ever and if you are white you should be guilty , which is what led me down the road to probably end up Sup Forums.

Our history syllabus tends to take a very neutral tone, it doesn't take a side, it just reports the facts. For contemporary history, anyway. The entire chapter on Cromwell in most history textbooks is basically "Cromwell came and I guess he did some bad stuff? idk let's move on".

WWII got a lot of love. Slavery was pretty much not taught at all, outside of that which was mingled in with Irish history. Lots of talk during Irish history about heroes, hardships, oppression and martyrdom.
