Would you have enlisted, Sup Forums?

Would you have enlisted, Sup Forums?

What if we all did, but we don't remember because we've all been decommissioned since we turned 13?

Have you ever been to /k/

It'd explain a lot

I get unlimited supplies to use and a cause to apply my talents in mechanical engineering and coding to? I absolutely fucking would. I'd spend my time making new weapons, vehicles, and other misc tech while using my parkour and gun handling skills to go on top secret missions with said tech. I'd end up a legend.

>Implying I haven't already
Show of hands, who here is over the age of 18?

Depends how much Father would pay for to find the cracks in their defenses.

Does joining that one online KND game when it was a thing count?

>wanting to join up with a bunch of snot-nosed brats
this website is for adults, kid

>would you have enlisted
>Past tense

He's implying "would you have joined them when you were a kid?"

Learn to syntax buddy.

>/k/ is just those kids who never got decommissioned and have ptsd from the war time, so they throw themselfs at guns to fight the nightmares.
What other boards could have been born cause of non-decommissioned kids?

Maybe, I had a lot of problems with authority as a kid. Probably would've turned traitor after I got sick of bureaucracy though.

They need to retcon the ending where they've been decommissioned, man.

>Sup Forums enlists
>Everyone just wants to fuck Numbah 86 or Numbah 362

I don't think they'd take Sup Forums.

I probably wouldn't have been allowed in.
too incompetent

>shit taste doesn't matter if you had it as a child
only a little twerp would think something like that
MODS!

Then which board would they take?

If Numbuh 3 and Tommy got in anyone can

Is it still up?
- Numbuh 7

Numbuh 3's not incompetent so much as she has no drive. When someone makes her mad she's absolutely fucking unstoppable. Otherwise she's just a less talented Numbuh 1, a jack of all trades and a master of none

shouldn't be everyone, kid?

Numbah Three is the diversionary tactics specialist. That's a fancy way of saying distraction. I believe she is also their medical officer, for some reason. She rarely hinders the success of the team and has been pivotal to it once or twice. The only episode where I recall her being an actual problem was the thermostat one, where she was basically insane.

Would you a Three?

>No dick
No.

>no dick
Well yeah, once she's done with you

Unless that magically gives her a dick of her own, still no.

/k/ - PTSD kids clinging to guns as comfort from the days they attacked adults
/diy/ - ex 2x4 technology experts using their knowledge to help others (even adults) or to learn more about their trade
/adv/ - people looking for help to deal with their PTSD
Sup Forums - people who still have problems with adults or people who were emotionally broken during their service in the KND

/tg/ - kids who used to run tactic scenarios

I think we can all agree that Decommissioning over the course of the series caused nothing but problems for the KND with but one singular exception(that being Grandfather), kinda makes me wonder if GKND would have acknowledged that at some point, because I'm amazed it never really came up during the course of the show(instead they always threw the blame at the people who tried and/or succeeded at avoiding being decommissioned, even though none of them would have become villains if they hadn't had to worry about getting their brains microwaved to extra soggy the moment they hit an arbitrary age)

Didn't even think of that.
Good pick!

You're still outnumbered, stupid adult

Remember how this Kid was woken up centuries after his time, given no time to adjust at all before being told that he was in a strange new world and that everyone he had ever known, including his parents, were long dead. And then the KND tried decommission him based on a technicality that he was technically over a hundred years old, despite the fact that he spent those years in stasis, meaning that biologically and mentally, the only ways that actually matter, he’s still a kid? And then at the end of the episode they wiped his memories and left him a stranger in a strange land with no one to lean on or take care of him and no memories of how the hell he got there? Yeah that shit was unjustifiable and beyond Fucked.

We are all adults on this board, man-children to be precise, wanting to go back, but knowing that that is not possible
So put down that mustard, we don't bite, we don't have the energy

We lost that energy
a long time ago

If I knew about decommisioning, probably not. I would have defect to the Teenagers when I was 12 1/2 like that girl in the sleepover episode. Pretty shitty retirement package, come to think of it. Basically guarantees you'll turn into what you hate.

Not me. I specifically remember being 11 and thinking "I'm not in the KND, now, so I'll keep this in mind when I grow up." Now, 26 year old me envisions sitting on that same sofa.

Same with FOP.

/diy/ member who has vague memories of creating childish weapons here. Can confirm this would be most likely.

Tell me all your secrets :)

how will the KND ever win?

Everyone grows up, they are fighting a losing battle against time.

Im 74 is that ok?

They didn't allowed me on the KND
>never had energy to begin with

People on /x/ were decomissioned, but it didn't take right.

aging is a disease user

For the kids who knew about the KND but didn't enlist, would they be mind-wiped too?

no they'd grow up thinking it was some silly club a bunch of kids they knew made

Am gonna guess /lgtb/ and Sup Forums Were kids who got too decommissioned and forgot thier sexually preference/common sense.

Sup Forums users aren't old enough to get decommissioned yet.

You're no threat to anyone. You may pass, old timer.

I wonder how the KND would react to the GKND if the show ever got greenlisted. I feel like the number of defectors would skyrocket. Not that they'd team up with the adults, but I don't think many people would put faith in an organization that was basically SHIELD if it was infested with Skrulls instead of Hydra. The GKND being a planet-level threat wouldn't instill much faith in me anyway

This thread got me wondering...

Does anyone remember this episode of TNG with the alien race that euphonizes it's members when they reach a certain age?
The plot revolved around this one scientist guy who believed he was on the verge of a breakthrough, but because his age of "retirement" was coming up, he wouldn't be able to complete his work, and the conflict stemmed from that.

Was there ever an episode like that on this show? Just seems like a cool idea that fits well with the KND and decommissioning.

What about me boi?
Am l young enough?
Do you like my shades?

/out/ - the ones that still have a craving for adventurous missions

Numbuh 3 wilded out and took on half of Santa's strongest strike force by herself AND survived the Twelve Days of Christmas attack, she knocked a cinderblock halfway across a neighborhood with a tennis racket, and she fucked up Mr. Boss after that macaroni art got ruined. Kuki absolutely earns her spot on the team, she isn't just some ditz.

Tommy (and 2 other nobodies) beat the entire Ice Cream Truck army and Father that time they were left alone in the Artic Base.

Oh, please...
lf numbah 2 could get in so could you

There’s the Maurice episode where he turned 13 before he could stop the Chicken Pox virus.

Didn't that episode also reveal that some >13 kids stay in the KND as secret operatives ?

Numbah 2 built all the damn technology they were using, including the vehicles. He wasn't some lazy ass.

He was fat tho
needed some exercise

He doesn't need to exercise more. The kid gets into aerial dogfights, fights bad guys, does crazy KND shit all the time, he's getting more exercise than other kids his age. His problem is just that he eats a lot. Calories in, calories out is the most important thing in weight loss.

Uh....
