Good evening owls,
it's time for some Marvel villains
Good evening owls,
it's time for some Marvel villains
...
Also Slotto is trying to shame a retailer who posted snarky things about Legacy not selling and it's fucking hilarious
...
Legacy is selling.
Deathstroke made another Wally his bitch today
Slade bullying nuWally
he's pretty good at that, isn't he
keep in mind this is 70s money
so what was good today, I only read D&M
Circus of Crime are top grade Marvel jobbers. Great low threat villains for any character's inventory issues. Kind of a shame Marvel so rarely operates in inventory issue OR low level threats nowadays.
Of course, at this point, travelling circuses in real life are basically not a thing, so I guess they make as much sense as Hawkeye's origin now.
Stray Bullets was a masterpiece.
In that in a 2+ year long arc feels fresh with an issue like today's.
I only read Deathstroke (good, of course) and Nightwing (mediocre, of course)
Deathstroke as usual.
Today's Batman Metal oneshot was the worst one which was a shame because the others were mostly alright.
I remember when that guy fought the hulk
Yeah, there are small carnivals still but I feel the "the carny" is much less of a Type than it used to be. Also now a small town thing and Marvel doesn't do things that aren't NYC, lol.
I have to say, I'm getting pretty tired of "creative team forthcoming"
Dawnbreaker was stupid
Deathstroke was good
I hope Joey's new man isn't another keikaku, he needs the love.
Oh yeah can y'all give me the rundown on the supposed new Marvel stuff?
Black Market cigars? New York City truly was a cesspit in the 1970s.
Dugguadians was good. Super non-twist ending, but hey, if'n you're gonna make Darkhawk into the Shi'ar Stasi, why not make Rich's little brother one of them for drama?
he needs to reclaim the suffering crown from Wally
Bad
Rogue & Gambit and Legion books are coming though
Probably with bad creative teams
It's keikaku all the way down.
Rogue and Gambit is like aimed at nostalgiafags my age who got into the X-Men through the 90s cartoon, right?
Does this mean the Inhumans are finally dying?
I thought he was just a fling since Joey used a dumb pickup setup to hit on him, but he'll probably turn out to be a plant by Isherwood or something
Either that or it was meant to tie into the Gambit movie that was meant to have been made by now
will that ever be made
Eh, every 3-5 months Tatum goes "I'm still attached" and that's it.
What a fucking idiot Slott really is.
If Ringley/Barnum and Bailey can't hack it anymore, there isn't much of a market for their smaller imitators.
The future of Circuses is clearly static Cirques and popup Circus-type attractions in annual fairs and carnivals.
True, what I was more thinking of with current carneys is ride and game and fatty fried food oriented, no one goes to see a circus act
the current rumor is they are trying to get Daniel Craig for Mr. Sinister
>initiating sex with the incel who coerced you into marrying him
This took a slide into wish fulfillment.
Sounds neat, but damn I was hoping they'd have him face off with Scott for some laughs.
Gambit is such a ridiculous character by any measure, and only gets more so with age, that it's hard to see it working in a movie. But hey Deadpool was OK if a very barebones kind of thing.
Eventually I guess Gambit will lose all context and flip around to just being coolly out there like msny of the LoSH.
Risk of devolving the thread into shitposting but after "Old Man Dr. Bong" the other day I realized that'd just be Steve Bannon.
If they actually play up fun sexy Gambit they can sell the movie to a female audience, but Hollywood seems to have a hard time understanding that women have and use money
...
doesn't have enough whiff of stale Scotch to it
Why does that lizard not have neez?
Princess Python would go on to have a rather odd adventure with Doctor Doom, much later.
...
Punisher: The Platoon
>Sigh, I'm too jaded to care darling.
That sounds like a bad choice. I feel like it'd be one of his "I'm only here for my paycheck" tier performances.
>Daniel Craig for Mr. Sinister
Boooo
Sinister should be camp as fuck
I liked the Brian Cranston rumor better desu
who is camp enough to do it who's not, IDK, Tim Curry
Maybe someone who was in Jupiter Ascending? I never saw it but I heard that was camp as fuck, right?
Shit, nah, that was boring.
But fuck Valerian makes me think that maybe Clive Owen could do it
Ralph Fiennes
Also, she has likely by this point already had Executioner Junior, apparently.
>being Howard is suffering
being me is also suffering but the pills help
I saw him once in person
he's genuinely hot
This is gonna sound weird, but apple juice/cider always made my teeth feel better when they were hurtin'.
>who is camp enough to do it who's not, IDK, Tim Curry
Sadly, I don't think post-stroke Tim Curry can manage as much camp as he used to.
To properly answer the question, though... Basically any male actor from Broadway/East End?
Jupiter Ascending's space cathedral wedding scene was fun IMO. Also just the notion of Sean Bean as a half-bee supersoldier. They should've made him buzz.
Shoot Em Up is good proof that Clive Owen will chew scenery with panache.
Warm salt water was helping
right now it's barley tea bc I have to take them out to drink hot tea and I'm supposed to not have them out more than 2 hours in total every day
The wedding scene is probably "the" exciting scene of Ascending.
It just plays down a lot of it's fanciful aspects as grounding to its world. Which was a mistake.
Damn straight.
(we're off tomorrow night anyway)
>Maybe someone who was in Jupiter Ascending?
Do we really want Gambit being a Jupiter Ascending reeunion with Tatum vs Eddie "A Cat is Fine Too" Redmayne?
now there's a meme I still love, even though yes, yes, it's sick and wrong
this is genuine existential identity comedy
> Okay Clive, so the film opens with you killing a man with a carrot and you say ' Eat your vegetables'...
> Mr. producer you can stop, I've already signed.
The ending is horrendous, for sure. Maybe you could get Rupert Everett for Sinister. Or Thranduil, Lee Pace.
...
Craig can do over-the-top, watch Logan Lucky.
...
...
Really, is this so different from the collection plate? These guys need to get out of the circus tent and into the revival one.
>Something retarded happens where a character far less powerful than another beats them somehow
>Retarded fanboys thinks this is logical
It's Batman v Superman all over again.
Late again!
I haven't read anything yet
Gonna be nashing my teeth a lot over new xbooks
what?
I don't think my pastor ever brainwashed me into giving money to charity.
Then again, how would I know?
HI user
I liked Harley and Ivy meets Betty and Veronica
Lee Pace is a good option.
I don't think I've seen Sam Rockwell is a major role since Seven Psychopaths and that man deserves screen time
Did you read it, because it is definitely not what your comment is implying
>g-guys my Deathstroke isn't going to be power level faggotry
>Deathstroke isn't going to go up against people too powerful on regular basis
>i-it's all grounded and shirt
Priest is a fucking hack.
...
I certainly like the inference.
Why shitpost like this?
nuWally is a stupid kid who isn't even on the level of pre-NTT Wally yet
Lots of powerlevel faggotry going on here, mate.
...
meant to quote not the original, but whatever
and there was no fight like he's talking about, just emotionally bullying
It's true fag. Priest actually said how his Deathstroke wasn't going to be an endless wank of how Slade can stroke anyone and it did become that in that retarded crossover and it's what happened here.
>even a mute is laughing at him
Wally is reaching Joey levels of suffering lol.
...
>and it's what happened here.
I really don't understand why you're choosing to shitpost about an issue you clearly didn't read in an unrelated thread. This is bizarre.
...
Winda, Paul. She's kind of your best, in fact, only lead to finding Howard.
Just saying.
It's my right to shitpost, it's in the Constitution.
fair enough I guess
Marvel hired a another comics "journalist."
ironic shitposting is just shitposting
Wow surely this new Black Panther origin comic has nothing to do with the movie about to come out
>76 Trombones
Ah, Mon's theme song.
I had a post about how dumb Gambit is for not going after the Magic Mike audience but Sup Forums ate it.
I want Tatum as Wonder Man personally
Weird how TNC has basically become the Black Panther editor.
I hope he gets an X book at NYCC
