Name a better currently running webcomic

name a better currently running webcomic

Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal.

smbc was at its best when it was 1 panel gags instead of xkcd-esque psued humor

I really hate this comic. I feel like it's an affront to everything it means to be human

Lackadaisy

This. At least he's somewhat self-aware of that.

He still goes back to 1 panel gags occasionally

kc green hasnt been funny for years and he still defend shmorky.

What did shmorky do?

Easy mode

Something about wanting to be a kid toucher. It was enough to have a falling out with lowtax. Shmorky has been m.i.a. since then

Unsounded is clearly the best.

Nedroid. Nedroid always wins.

Unsounded being the best is unfounded
Especially after getting Endtown'ded

...

This one's alright, but I have the impression this guy would get incredibly aggravating if I started going through all of his comics.

...

Pedophile babyfur with a diaper fetish who turned into a tumblr tranny with a special snowflake made up gender identity and just being batshit crazy in general.

Anyone got the recording of the argument with him and his batshit crazy girlfriend?

Back is better

It's like XKCD without the pretentiousness and only a little of the self-righteousness.

This.

...

Camp Wedonwantcha

Shmorky sounds kind of wild

I was looking up Shmorky's girlfriend and she's kind of weird and maybe has done too much meth???

yeah I liked it until the author jumped on the

"omgz drumpf is bad!" bandwagon

leave it to a drumpftard to get triggered

Rather be with Trump than with her.

He never was really funny. He had moments where you can chuckle at his comics, but mostly it was wtf moments upon one another.

You forgot about bullying someone into suicide.

This guy gets it.
Trixie Slaughteraxe (And Oyvind's comics in general) are the only webcomics I read with any regularity, since Gunshow ended.

he has to defend smorky because they both did AS bumps

or maybe kcs a pedo too.

it's a real sad day on Sup Forums when bullying someone into suicide is considered a bad thing

I want my old Sup Forums back

I just wish he hadn't killed off the last batch of monsters so abruptly. What an interesting concept, hijacking another beings consciousness to define your tactics/strategy; I thought that the gang was going to somehow subvert their knowledge, or that the monster expert had done mental preparations to falsely inform them. Also, why does Lynden still have his conjuring ability in this latest comic? Nothing's ever quite lived up to hitmen for destiny, but damn if the scenarios aren't consistently thought-provoking and original.

Outside of anime club, the sonic comics, and the bunny comics, he never anything good.

That read like really blatant shilling and caused me to lose respect for you as a human being.

I like to marathon them when they finish, but everything he has done has been gold, with the exception of the Accidental Space Spy's ending. I'm not sure what happened with that one, it felt so abrupt and unsatisfying especially compared to the endings of what came before and after it.

Not enough irony for you, eh? But in all honestly, I wouldn't mind having more people to discuss the comic with; from what angle can talking about a free webcomic be considered "shilling"? I don't think the maker has a patreon or anything like that.
I need to go back & marathon brain-chip; his comics are always hard to follow as they come out, but it was especially true for that one. The space spy ending was definitely disappointing.

seriously no mention of PBF? It's one of the most consistently funny webcomics. I'm fine with sporadic updates as long as the content is good.

Your shit taste is an affront to everything it means to be human. SMBC is great.

The worst thing he does is occasionally make similar jokes that he made years ago, but I doubt he even realizes he already made a similar joke, since it's been updating every single day for a decade or so.

Most of his humor is "State problem, come up with solution, take solution to absurd extremes, punchline is an unintended side effect of absurdly extreme solution."

Seconding this. Endtown has a slow start but hits it right out of the park after a bit of world building. Kind of sad the waifu wars killed the threads here though. It's well worth discussing again.

it's good when it wants to be good, it's just the "i'll update whenever the fuck i want to update ouchy my wrist so sorry so sorry"attitude and the "wanna be homestuck 30 arcs in one whatever the lesbians fuck is going on" plots that mostly bum you out. but it's good at times.

As long as Marx still exists itll always be plagued with shit writing and its honestly just simplistic emotional porn.
Theres too much post-apocalyptic media out there and Endtown doesn't really set itself apart besides its retro-futurism with furries.
It used to be good. Its pretty fucking shit now because zach cannot 1. Keep a schedule 2. Write an over-arching plot to save his life. The character drama is meh at best but the comedy is still pretty good.

that was just the most recent page plotwise(not counting the fillers). i used to laugh my ass off during the first chapters, even the ghost train arc made me chuckle constantly, but ever since hitball i've barely even smirked at the comedy attempts, it's also meh to me now. also the inevitable pandering to sjw's was a downer for me.

most other web comics i read, nothing the artist you posted has made has been funny

Came here to post this

Would be better it it updated more than twice a year anymore

So where's the punchline for this comic?

i too came here in hopes that you posted this.

the punchline is kc green doesn't know what to do after Gunshow.

I've noticed a trend with these comics besides being insufferable is that the brown women in them are always right/voice of reason

someone asked zack about that in a Q&A and his response was something along the lines of "I have a fetish for being told off by brown women"

>overreacts to baby chewing on random things by putting it in a vacuum chamber, literally leading to the end of existence
>is right/voice of reason

Okay.

I can't believe this comic won strip search, I find it so thoroughly unamusing. Way better than pineapple shit show comic, way worst than Last Halloween.
You should defintely kill yourself
Paranatural is a fucking gift, I know Sup Forums is on the hatetrain lately but this comic is so solid. By it's self reading the comic forgetting being mad for the update pace it is very fulfilling. Well thought out story, really really well fleshed out world for a webcomic, super funny, good narratives arc (except kind of lately). WE'RE ALL LUCKY TO HAVE IT OK?

>because no one can have opinions this shit

Homestuck

i don't hate paranatural, it's a great comic, it's just the pacing that gets me. i understand the author has a life and a swollen wrist, but taking a two to three weeks vacation every few updates or so ruins the experience for me.

>currently running webcomic
>game doesn't count

(person you commented to) Probably helps that I don't wait for updates, I read comics in chunks and don't agonize for new pages. I just come back every several months to comics.
I do wonder about people who wait for each new update and how they can really assess tone reading in that way.

well for me it's more of an "i already binge read it, i liked it and it's still updating, i'll check the new page on wednesday, maybe we'll get see who is the mysterious new character this time".
sometimes you get hooked to it, kinda like waiting for a new episode of some show and not wanting to miss it.

The race/gender/orientation of all his characters are pretty much randomized, unless he's explicitly making a gay joke.

I think you're seeing things that aren't there.

...

Maggot Boy

It's about self-aware zombie vigilantes set in the aftermath of the zombie apocalypse. The artwork and characters remind me somewhat to early Gorillaz, that new show Villainous.

The creator has gone more Tumblr over time, but the comic is still raising the stakes and being engaging.

Mein schwartzes.
