I guess I should clarify. The mechanics are basically unchanged, so you can find yourself running halfway to the objective, get picked off by some lucky guy or a basically unstoppable hero unit, and have to start all over again, which I personally find annoying.
That said, Galactic Assault is fun and keeps you moving pretty constantly. Starfighter Assault is actually deep now and had real objectives (as obbosed to BF1's "shoot this transport, ok, now just go back to dogfighting mindlessly). I haven't played strike yet.
