>"Hey, I just tripped and accidentally broke most of the dishes and mugs. Can you help me out?"
>"No."
And where supposed to feel sorry for this goddamn faggot?
Moonstruck Comic
Who is this whiny man and why is his ass so prominently displayed in that big panel?
Are those 2 supposed to be (ugly)traps?
Everything about this is unappealing.
storytime when?
Centaur fag who got his horse ass stolen.
lol
Why do these asshats always make the SocJusMillenials baristas? If they're going to work minimum wage why not make it so they work at a Stripes, Circle K, 7-11, Pizza boy, store clerk? You know, something challenging?
Guy is a normal person after being a centaur for most of his life. I can kinda see why they might be a bit depressed.
Still doesn't explain how or why though, or what it's ultimate purpose is in the plot.
Is that the trannyshit tumblr comic?
>the setting is a coffee shop
Yeah no fucking surprises there
is... is he trowing a fucking child tantrum?
how old is this guy?
> weee look mommie i draw just like everyone else that's how i be individual
>doing what normal people can do
>read on colonialism to check your privilege
I don't even know how those two things correlate.
If you have the pages can you just get the story time over with already?
Stinz did this exact story so incredibly well without being a fucking morality play and no I don't feel like storytiming it right now
> You just called my bipedal form a monster, you can check YOUR fucking privilege you enormous faggot
Not really.
Just got a few pages + the fanart section.
I already read it earlier tho.
>my minotaur drawing didn't made it.
oh well.
I wanna punch and physically abuse every person in that comic book.
I don't understand Sup Forumss problem with the art. They are slipping a bit and being lazier with the BGs and texture over use, but the style is cute.
I'd read Squirrel Girl if this were the artist.
looks like steven universe
Every SJW tumblr comic does
>steven universe created simplified fat characters
I was thinking more in the faces and expressions
Use to be a centaur man, but now he is just a man. Or, as it's described in story, an evil wizard stole his horse-butt.
Because Friends was a thing in this demographic's formative years? Like how Questionable Content is a future trans-human setting were everything centers around a coffee house.
I'm more irked that this is like the second or third "Supernatural creatures run a restaurant/cafe" comic this year.
Watching Friends instead of Seinfeld kino, My hatred for Millennials continues to rise. And I'm 24 by the way
There's a couple angles they could be going for. It could be the normalization of native and ethnic people, where "Normal" is basically be more white. Given the LBGTQ untertones, her remark could also be the equivalent of "Well, have you tried *not* being a centaur?"
Either route is about as subtle as a sledgehammer.
Still, it's not too bad, but not my Thing. Not sure how this got onto Image & not another comic company.
Seinfeld also had a cafe/coffee shop were a lot of the action took place, because 90's.
This comic was made after a controversy erupted from their United States of Hysteria comic where on the cover it showed a Muslim clerk getting lynched and getting his dick chopped off, not even joking. After the cover got Media attention they issued a backhanded apology and made all of their writers attend an LGBTQABCDEFGHIJKLMOPQRSTUVWXYZ workshop to facilitate a more "wholesome" comic. And now, we're here
Did the art get shittier or something? Not to say that the art was ever good but it's a noticeable downgrade on something that's already pretty low.
>tfw I used to like this artist until she simplified her style to the point where it looks generic and boring as fuck
feels bad man
>Stinz
My man. I love just how imaginative that setting is.
Yeah, but they also didn't make that area the only place where they hung out. The point I was trying to make is that in almost every "Slice of Life" comic that they're making they make the core focus a Star-bucks oriented setting, a product that most people that I know of can't even afford. I wish they could change it up and make the place where they work like an office, an Office Depot, a clothing store, ANYWHERE but the overused coffee shop
Those two books had been in the works months before though, they just got solicited and released right about the same time.
So you had the unfortunate timing of Moonstruck's cutesy art style & LBGTQ themes coming out the same time of Divided's OMG RACISM & GOOOORE! Nevermind half of Image's books also have GOOOORE! this time it's different.
Also, It's Howard Chaykin handling all the stuff on a comic. Not sure what Image was expecting.
Finally someone had the courage to write a comic about two baristas.
From the dialogue it looks like he is still getting used to being a biped.
What did it look like before? I’m curious.
Here's something from a few years ago
It still looks like shit...
I'm trans-barista myself so it's good to see representation.
>to be in the absolute state where you feel guilt and the need to apologize for simply acknowledging romantic feelings
This is what it’s come to. Marvel will eventually hire this piece of shit too.
Idgi
>a book on colonialism
Look! Yet another millennial liberal coding real life oppression using cute animals.
Too fucking coward to write about minorities? Make them little bunnies. Or demons. Or monsters. I'm sure the fact that you're criticising the dehumanisation of minorities by turning them into literal animals will fly above your head as it always does.
decaf
Why did you bump this shit?
>I hate pants
So when he had a horse butt, his cock, balls, and anus were on display for all to see all the time?
That's kinda hot.
>being this passive aggressive about a legitimate complaint
I know, right.
