Batman - A Death in the Family storytimes

Another well-known story of Batman from Jim Starlin.

>I try to keep my temper in check
>Grabs Jason and yells at him on the next panel
Can't decide if this is lame or actual subtle writing.

bump

...

You never know with Starlin.

Isn't this actually a terrible way to work out aggression

...

This story is such fucking trash holy fuck

...

Huh I just read this the other day. It was okay, still don't understand why people were so pissy about Jason since he wasn't even a Robin very long before they pulled this

...

...

...

It's kind of nice to see Batman make such a simple mistake

With no actual evidence, I am going to assume that woman is the mother of Isabel from Red Hood and the Outlaws.

...

>still don't understand why people were so pissy about Jason
They weren't really. O'Neill and Starling wanted to get rid of him because they wanted Batman to be solo.

...

...

...

Well, there was also the one supreme autist who programmed his computer to cast a vote every 90 minutes to kill off Jason in the poll. He single-handedly slew a fictional child.

...

...

...

And to that end they purposely started writing him so that readers would dislike him.
And even if he didn't they were going to retire Jason and the mantle of Robin, permanently.
