If Parliament blocks Brexit surely this would be enough to trigger a revolt among Brits? Despite the meme many Britons are still armed and most I'd say come from anti-EU areas. Also what role does the Queen have in all of this? What about a military coup? Britain surely isn't as tinpot as Greece or Ireland to be betrayed and just stand for it? What about independence for the regions within England?
UK Civil War
Well, the general population doesn't have much in the way of small arms so if the military doesn't support Brexit, they'd probably be shit out of luck.
I plan to emigrate as soon as I have the self-sufficiency to.
Noone here will revolt in any real capacity.
There are over 1.6 million gun owners in the UK.
The overwhelming majority of civil wars have been fought with far fewer arms than that.
You don't need guns to revolt, we still have butter knives that haven't yet been confiscated.
BIN DAT WAR M8
Civil wars only need 2% or less of the population to be actively participating via aiding and abetting to actually fighting.
>I study history and terrorism specifically
>If Parliament blocks Brexit surely this would be enough to trigger a revolt among Brits?
It's not as simple as that. There was only a 51% majority too leave. Will this 51% revolt? Probably not. Then there are the Scottish. How can an SNP MP vote for Brexit? They can't. The vote will just expose divisions within the UK, the political parties and the people they represent.
Also what role does the Queen have in all of this?
She's apolitical.
Isn't she supposed to be a safeguard of sorts? I thought that's the whole point of a constitutional monarch. If she won't stand up for her country then screw her to be honest.
Nah that's the HOL, at least on paper. Really they're largely self-serving beasts at this point too.
She's a figurehead. She has no real power, just the soft power that comes with being the queen. People will feel more loyalty to her that the PM but if she did speak on political matters Britain would become a republic.
they'll just flood the third world in to suppress the natives.
I'm hammering spoons into spearheads as we speak.
I just had a thought, what if a referendum result had a difference of 1, 100 or 1000 votes?
Would they hold a second one or just roll with it? Assuming the government was completely unbiased I mean. Like is there a protocol for that?
Probably recount to make sure then go with it.
just copy what isis does
parliament will oooohhh and ahhh but won't block brexit.
it would be the definition of career suicide, anyone who went against the conservative party line as a conservative would get axed, if labor voted against brexit they would lose the rest of their voting base in the north, and the snp don't have a majority.
Simply put, any party that actively votes against brexit, won't get voted for. Ever.
I've liked Theresa May but if Brexit is stopped then the Torys are finished as a party.
I have a crossbow, can I revolt with that
OY M8 BIN THAT BOW
It's just going to be diluted as fuck.
I remember hearing at the time that even a difference of one vote would have been the decider in this particular referendum.
You're nicked, you cheeky wanker!
>libdems dead

>ukip dead
>tories dead

If they vote to block leaving the EU, UKIP will become the second party, if not the first.
The speed of continental drift is slow and steady.
Nails make good arrowheads after a few hammer blows and some grinding.
You can make a 60# bow out of PVC in 30 minutes.
What would they revolt with? Spoons?
I hope you're hiding behind 7 proxies right now?
You can still bludgeon a politician with garden tools m8
If greens got in power we would be welcoming a russian colonisation of britain, because no trident
>If Parliament blocks Brexit surely this would be enough to trigger a revolt among Brits?
The government won't block it. They'll stall for as long as possible and when finally forced take us out of the the Union and into the EEA where nothing will change except fishermen won't get cucked out of north sea resources.
People will complain but eventually forget because most of the younger generations didn't care or even want to remove their shackles.
>surely this would be enough to trigger a revolt
guaranteed, brexit was a revolt which they are trying to thwart. UK is long over due some stubstantial establishment changes.
>EU forms an army
>Tries to invade the UK
Taking bets.
FUCKING C'MON THEN CUNTS I'LL DECK YA CUNT
A problem when the Queen is in her eighties, shit at her job and knows who pays the heating bill.
You forget, that there even some remainers will still fight for the people.
I genuinely hope the EU forms an army to subjugate its people because that'd give Putin and Trump the perfect excuse to liberate Europe
Can't wait for president Trump to visit Europe and tell our leaders, "yeah there's too many Muslims in your country's they're going to take over, what are you going to do about it?" "We can help you with that if you want, for a fee and some clay."
kek no ones going to vote commie-feminazis hiding behind greenolotics, lad
im sure there are enough bike wheels to overthrow the government in UK
>surely this would be enough to trigger a revolt among Brits
top kek. Nothing will happen because of demographics.
>vast majority of protesting, rioting, civil disobedience is done by younger people
>most Brexit voters are about 200 years old
If all of the Conservative MPs vote for Brexit, then the rest of parliament can vote against it and it will still go through. If, however, the appeal by the government fails and enough Tories don't fall in line, then it would make our political system into a total sham, where the will of the people is ignored, giving further ammo to the remaniacs who prefer EU laws over our own.
>implying UKIP support wouldn't fly through the roof in the event of a blocked brexit
noice
Why do we want Brexit again? I forgot
I might just be being optimistic, but I doubt Parliament will successfully block the activation of A50.
Especially when there's a pro-Brexit President Trump just across the pond.
This. If you think Americans are brain dead media sheep you haven't met the British.
Britbros pls remember
For the tree of liberty to grow, and not to wither away and die, it must be periodically fertilized with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Don't forget this and be cucked bros.
>conveniently leaving out the fact that the majority of civil wars also had nowhere near 60 million gunless civilians
...
I don't know mate, people are getting really tired. The (((child migrant))) thing isn't washing as much anymore, I don't think they can get away with blocking Brexit or watering it down so much it's meaningless. We'll see though.
>If Parliament blocks Brexit surely this would be enough to trigger a revolt among Brits?
In short, yes.
It will destroy at least on of the main parties and the English as a whole will abandon the post war political process almost completely.
You would likely see an explicit return to a peerage centred class system. People would have little else left to believe in.
People don't revolt till they're hungry.
