>show ends in a cliffhanger

>show ends in disappointment

>show is 100% cliffhanger

> thing happens and angry autist runs to the computer to complain

>best cartoon ever made by far gets cancelled in spite of setting up a new plot for the next season

>show is cancelled leaving the character with the most potential for interesting growth and character dynamics having been used as little more than a plot device

Fuck you Disney

I forgot how'd the show end anyways?

What's the worst cliffhanger and why is it Duckman's?

Skeleton King was reborn and killed Valeena. He raises an army of the dead and a castle and marches on Shuggazoom

Chiro and the Monkey Team send out a call to all of their allies and prepare to fight

Why does Yellow get pink eyes? I can get black since black on black is weird, but not yellow.

...

I caught up to that show with 4 AM Toon Disney reruns and had no idea that was the ending until the next rerun was the first episode.
That was a sad night.
Fantastic series though.

Now the memories I have of this show are very hazy but I remember that the last episode I ever saw (I swear they just stopped broadcasting the cartoon in my country after it) was about the boy transforming into some kind of feral monkey monster and escapes into the forest, and the robots don't even try stopping him. Is this some kind of fever dream?

>show from start to finish is an utter embarrassment

Because she's the girl, of course.

No, that was the finale to the second-to-last season, I believe

>Show ends in the best way possible with the message flying over the fandom's head causing a reboot that, while incredibly successful, is reviled by the whiney self-entitled fans that wanted more content

>Sup Forumsntrarians pretend the reboot is successful

I cant see any episode without cringing yet Im unnable to look away.

>show goes on indefinite hiatus after ending in a cliffhanger

>dominatorfag thinking she's more interesting than fucking hater

That was the Season 2 finale.

>TOONZONE NEWS: Speaking of Monkey Team, are there stories for that you’d like to explore if given the chance to go back to it?

>CIRO NIELI: Oh yeah. There’s a finale planned for that and I don’t know how I’m gonna do it but I swear that I’m gonna do it someday. I can do it as one movie or I can do it as a whole season, it just depends on how much breadth I want to give it. Look at the last episode. You can either pick it up from there or you can go ‘Five years later: it’s the war of the undead vs the robot chimps.’ It’s this crazy battlefield where all forces have kinda teamed up against the ultimate evil. It’d be awesome. It’s all figured out pretty much. Everyone bugs me about it all the time and I really wanna sit down and tell everybody what happens but I’d rather just make it someday and give it to them. Worst case scenario: before I die I’ll do a perfect graphic novel of it and then Disney can sue me posthumously ‘cause they now completely own it and that’s how it goes [laughs]. I guess I could make a comic and change the names and hairdos…

glad to know he hasn't forgotten about it

I waited fifty-two fucking episodes for these two to fuck, and THEY finally get together right before the show ends

>Being the most popular show in the network isn't success

A few autists whining on the internet won't change facts

>Best Cartoon ever made
> W.I.T.C.H.

That guy looks exactly like Milo from Atlantis.

If you're making a season of a story-based show without knowing that you will get another season, give at least some closure.

Don't go as far as Sledgehammer, though.

>a wild DCAUfag appears
Yes, W.I.T.C.H. is a million times better than your standardized capeshit shows that we've all seen... a million times.

And if we're talking about female characters in particular, they're not even in the same galaxy in terms of the writing.

You do realize both properties are Disney's, right?

>Being the only show an the network is actually success

>If you're making a season of a story-based show without knowing that you will get another season, give at least some closure.
Problem is, even if you do that you can get painful cliffhangers like and

perfection

>show ends in a cliffhanger
It still fucking hurts.

If I win the lottery, I'm going to try and buy this property and at least make a comic that finishes things off.

I'd hardly call a cliffhanger.

That's just like, your opinion, man.

Damn that was a bitter disappointment indeed. Great series.

>implying i don't like hater more

I love Hater as he is, he's the best character on the show. I don't really care for any more development on his part post-S2. I want to see what happens after Dominator stops being a near-untouchable antagonist and have the show explore and develop her as what she really is: a severely socially stunted, more composed, sociopathic and cripplingly lonely Lord Hater.

Didn't Transformers Animated end on a cliffhanger

>show ends

>Show has a nice, fulfilling ending, leaving while it was still good

>show was shit from the start but covered it up with fuzzy childhood nostalgia feels

Fucking hell. Don't remind me that this show was canceled.

>the world thinks Bruce Wayne is dead
>the world also thinks Batman killed him and is a wanted terrorist.
>the Outsiders were just formed
>Jim Gordon quit as commissioner in disgust over Dent's abuse of power
>Anarky and Two-Face are still on the loose

>Show is written off for tax purposes and cannot be legally aired in the US

At least YOUR favorite giant robot show got a DVD release.

>Show ends with the perfect ending of doing a reversal on one of the main plots of the series, and putting a satisfying resolution, but because the network didn't air some of the episodes due to preemption, they were aired on ANOTHER network and take the ending's place as last episode of the series, fucking it all up. Disgusting

Who the fuck cares about airing order? Only production order matters, except for Wikipedia autists.

I wish Jim Miller could stop trying to use the internet as his personal therapist and source of self validation.

If you live in Australia, at least.

Your shitty teenage Sailor Moon ripoff will never ever top Batman TAS

Airing order matters a lot less now, but a few years ago, when streaming services weren't a thing, it was pretty much all that mattered. .

Firefly was likely canceled because it was aired out of order, meaning nobody who watched it had a clue as to what was going on, which led to low view numbers for the later episodes.

>what is importing

It's so far beyond both of them in just about every respect it's not even funny, actually. Practically perfect plots, characterization, dialogue, animation, soundtrack... yeah.

And then you realize it was accomplished by two completely separate writing teams, and the production (not just animation) being done on a different continent than the writing... yet the show feels utterly seamless and cohesive.

ok, maybe sugar

Streaming services have their own issues with availability, though. It's piracy that's made the difference, ironically enough.

If you miss an episode now, it's basically trivial to find it uploaded somewhere - if the show is at least somewhat popular.

Nobody else reply to this.

You stupid fuck, why would it be bait?
I genuinely consider W.I.T.C.H. to be the best cartoon, period.

>why would it be bait
>i genuinely consider W.I.T.C.H to be the best cartoon, period

There you go.

So any opinion that's different from the (shitty) mainstream counts as bait now?

>muh it's not mainstream so it's invalid

Are you dense? This is Sup Forums. Nothing about this board is mainstream. Your opinion is invalid because the absolute best cartoon of all time to you is shitty by-the-numbers high fantasy shlock that was made for fucking tweens.

Batman TAS being a great cartoon is mainstream
Sailor Moon being a great anime is mainstream
W.I.T.C.H. being a great cartoon is not.

>shitty by-the-numbers high fantasy shlock that was made for fucking tweens.
Okay, now I'm 99% certain you have not watched it.

>This is Sup Forums. Very little about this board is mainstream.

Are you happy now?

>I'm 99% sure you haven't watched it

It's generic, it's high fantasy, it was made for tweens and it's shitty. Do you want a detailed analysis on why W.I.T.C.H sucks balls or something? Watch the show if you want that.

>literally reposts the exact same two points
Oh shit, I see I've been falling for reverse bait.
Well played, user. Well played.

>final season doesn't air because of network shenanigans

Only one episode to be done be with it
Only
Fucking one
Episode

Uh, what? What didn't you like about EEnE's ending?

That show was always shit.
It was the TTG of it's day.

...

Maybe one day
But probably not

Show ends talking to the audience making you sad.

youtube.com/watch?v=nY2ME08hncw

This is one of the few shows I can say did both plot an episodic correctly.
Steven Universe could learn a lot from its pacing.

>mfw we were gonna get EXO Pirates as a secondary show to coincide with Season 3.

What the fuck happened? The toys sold well enough, what forced them to pull the plug?

...

Yup. I still hate that thing.

that's literally how every cartoon relationship goes

I preferred the old design
although props to him for killing that bitch like a badass

I think both designs have their merits

got any high quality Nova pics?

...

...

Well fucking played

Final episode had Reborn skeleton king start a undead war against Shugazoom. Chiro was calling in all his friends to help... The monkeys were putting on armor ready for war and then... Nothing.

Honestly should have done Ninja turtle x Ultra Mecha Primate Group Overdrive team go team up.

>Mark Hamel plays Darth Vader not one, not twice but three times in his VA work.

>show wraps up it's series three times and still leaves it open enough to continued if needed

I honestly was really impressed how much the writers did their damnest to make sure the show had a wrap up ending and not beg out for a renewal like most shows do.

...

Snively would've fucked them up

Thank god for the comics.

>show doesn't end

>show end maturely by spelling out that you can't get what you want, people change, and some things in life will never be answered
>w-why did it gave to end in a c-cliffhanger?

>Show ends with characters having to leave eachother forever

>Roughnecks starship troopers chronicles will never get its final episode.

It wasnt a cliffhanger season, they had one final episode left and it ended, everything set up for the grand finale last stand. It will bug the shit out of me for a long ass time to come.

Bless the Russians for giving us backSuper Robot Monkey Team Hyper Force Go in high fucking quality. Should make a kickstarter for the finale.

...

still depressed

That’s how we got LoK season 2 and JLU season 3.

I rarely saw kids wearing Teen Titan shirts when the original aired, sadly I see kids wearing shirts that say Teen Titans Go! but have art from the original now at least a few days a week

context?
