Why doesn't Sup Forums have a sticky like /Lit/ with guides and recommendations?

Why doesn't Sup Forums have a sticky like /Lit/ with guides and recommendations?

I would like some of that you see

Because the recommendations would just be Babby's First Gwaphic Novel tier shit, like Dark Knight Returns, The Killing Joke and League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.

What's the point?

Everyone here knows this is the only Sup Forums rec you really need. (So much so that I've stopped posting it as much to avoid spamming.)

thanks :)

Don't listen to this faggot

...

I... don't know how to feel about this image. So much great taste, so much shit taste, so much a feeling of being replaced in the cartoon grid niche.

>spoonfeeding faggots
No thanks

> BTAS nowhere to be seen
This is shit

The Batman is better than TAS.

Not really.
Most The Batman had them resorting to fighting way too much.
I mean really The Riddler in an actual brawl?

It isn't.

New Teen Titans comic is better than the cartoon.

Riddler only fought as a last resort, when he knew he was basically beaten anyways. Makes sense to me.

our mods hate their job.

What's wrong with "spoon-feeding"?

How is recommending people a form a media spoonfeeding?

>spoonfeeding faggots
go back to Sup Forums faggot

Because anyone new coming to Sup Forums doesn't give two shits about comics or cartoons and just wants to talk about epic live-action capeshit.

Everyone who would otherwise have been into comics and cartoons likely switched to manga and anime, for obvious reasons.

He has a point Sup Forums tends to latch on newer content usually because its new and slightly different.

The /lit/ sticky is a pretense to cover the fact that the board has no moderation and spends more time arguing about politics or blogging /r9k/-style instead of discussing literature

DFW is shit, Watchmen is overrated, Maus could be good if Spiegelman wasn't such a faggot, Pynchon is literally the greatest writers since Joyce, who's better than Shakespeare. Grant Morrison has far surpassed Alan Moore, who made the right thing switching to novels, since The Voice of Fire is GOAT and Jerusalem is pretty good as well.

Also, Shakespeare is a meme compared to Chaucer, Cervantes or Rabellais and Stan Lee did nothing wrong.

There is nothing wrong with telling people not spoonfeed newfags. Sup Forums being too nice to newfags was one of the reasons why this board went to shit.

You have no evidence to prove that.

Even if you ignore recommendation requests from newfags, there's nothing stopping them from lurking and mimicking memes and toxic behavior to fit in.

No, you're just being a faggot. Sup Forums doesn't allow recs and the board is still awful

That's...kinda crappy.

Just looked the genre section in /lit/s wiki.
Also kinda crappy.

>Nobody remembers the co reccomends tumblr page
Sad.

Reminder to report.

...

because comics and cartoons are very mainstream and easy to follow especially nowdays. literature and weebshit are more obscure and thus need the sticky.

>comics
>very mainstream and easy to follow

That is literally the opposite of what most people think.

We hate comics and cartoons.

Here' another question. How come there's no My Anime List, or anything similiar to that format for both comics and cartoons?

This is pretty decent bait

>Why doesn't Sup Forums have a sticky like /Lit/ with guides and recommendations?
because people here don't follow the rules anyways

>GENERALS ARE SHIT
>CAN'T DISCUSS ANYTHING RECENT
>PORN WHEN THERE'S A COMIC PORN BOARD
this board is worse than Sup Forums and Sup Forums cause I have never seen a thread stay on topic longer than 30 posts, this is one o the worst boards

>/lit/
>having good taste in anything that isn't their own bullshit

I'm not joking.
