That is fucking mental. Can grab 24 crates for 15 quid here, when they're on deals
...
>Letting liberals create the tax code
30 racks are like 19 bucks here.
Because you are socialist scum and your country is run by literally cucked retards.
It's even more on the eastern side.
muh taxes muh imports muh NAFTA
kk
...
>24 crates for 15 quid
where?
>beer
Because we only have 2 places to purchase alcohol?
I can either go to LCBO or the Beer Store. Just wait until grocery stores and macs can sell booze, the prices will fall.
...
Literally 15$ in California.
This why the fuck are you drinking piss?
Same reason pic related probably costs more here in the states... it's an import.
Beer is for degenerates anyway.
22$ here in oregon
>BEER
Do they actually sell that garbage up there for that price?
I'm more ashamed of Budwiser than the trail of tears.
its like 48 on the east coast
This
I love beer but it's so calorific. It's pretty degenerate tbqh
2 shots of whiskey or rum is a lot more efficient if you want to get buzzed.
This makes me sad.
Went to buy a case of schooners, was gonna go on a jag with some friends.. 23$ for a 24.. I cracked on and had a mug up instead. Got to the house, and my friend said "hou em ya.. Got that beer?" I told him I couldn't afford it.. Pushed me overboard the next day..
we live in a socialist country, what did you expect?
I'm sure the crazed dyke running our province is using that money from her state controlled alcohol racket very wisely, I'm sure one of our Syrian refugees deserves it
when I drank loads of beer, 18 years ago, was always 24 bucks a 2/4
Could be as much as 60$ here for a slab.
In most bars and clubs one beer can be as much as 12+ bucks.
Where you? I live in NS.. It's 23 for a 2-4 at the lc.
...
>Buying Budweiser
where are you getting 23 dollar 24s of beer in Nova Scotia
t.nova scotian
It's still all through the LCBO, mate.
The LCBO is the largest single purchaser of alcohol in the world. If they wanted to, our hooch could be SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper. They actually tell their suppliers to charge them more so they can justify having the price high. I know, it's ridiculous.
You'll get the convenience of not having to make two stops, but you're not getting it any cheaper, I'm afraid, mate.
what in the fuck language is this
We gotta pay for those Rapefugees somehow, right?
Southwest.. I thought it was supposed to be cheap all through the province?
northern ontario
mostly, I would buy stuff from northern breweries..way cheap..way more alcohol
not sure if northern breweries exists anymore..I don't go out now
Maritimer, possibly Newfie.
Seeing a Canadian drinking Bud is rare as fuck; if we have to drink shitty American beer it's usually Coors or MGD.
he went to purchase a 24 pack of high quality beer to get drunk with his friends. Upon seeing the price he left the store empty-handed and proceeded to get food instead of beer. Upon walking through the unlocked door at his destination he was challenged for identity. His friend was so disappointed by the lack of beer that he pushed him overboard during their fishing trip the next day
Not maritime, definitely looks like newfi
I live in southwest nova - there are NO 24's for less than $40 --- maybe you're thinking of a 12 pack lol.
...
38.50 CAD for a whole case of bud?
Nigga I have to to pay the same price for a fucking six pack in Norway.
38.50 for a case is reasonalbe if you aks me
>Why is alcohol so expensive in Canada
Probably because the guy moving boxes around at the state run liquor control board warehouse is being paid $30.00 per hour with overtime.
>tfw just got 20 cans of fosters for 13 quid
That's more than craft beer in the states
Pic related costs costs $16
Nova Scotia.. Plz read my other posts, bub.
That's about $18, same price as a 30 pack of any AB product here. Interesting it's basically the same price in US and UK
Get off your high horse Bubba
Yea.. I am.. TbH im drunk right now actually.. Yea.. And schooners is the more expensive beer here. I mixed up.
I thought German people liked beer.
I was about to ask, don't you bros have something decent to drink up there?
I will drink a pisswater pale American lager when its summer in the States. Because if you drink anything else, you will long for death. The heat is so fucking bad. And when you're out at a pig pickin' or some kind of legit BBQ, you would be at-risk for faggotry if you didn't drink an icy cold, pale lager. Preferably on tap.
But in the winter and during other kinds of meals, it makes no fucking sense to drink bud or any of this stuff.
yeah mug up, crack on, and ''hou em ya'' are pretty nova scotian
My father is American and is literally the only person I know who drinks bud.. And I'm pretty sure our bud is different than the bud in the states.
>beer
Don't they have opticians in canada?
Taxes, import fees, more taxes
canada is communist
Or crony capitalism as a nicer word.
If you red pill yourself on canada, you'll want to be American really quick.
You're a tax slave with no real rights in canada.
That's the truth.
nlliquor.com
52.13$ in Newfoundland. You can also only buy liquor from the NL Liquor store.
Check the site for prices to compare with yourselves. We get fucked over here with how much everything costs.
I'm glad your economy is shit. I can't stand you Canadian faggots.
Why the fuck is this allowed?
Thanks Wynne
I wouldn't even spend the 20 it costs here for that watered down shit
Because in socialism things locally sourced are usually priced decently, but imports cost a lot because your money is shit.
my poison of choice - if im going to be drinking a large quantity of beer 12+ I usually just go with molson canadian ice cold
Your from the east aren't yeah.
Look into Nova Scotian beer.
Oland's beer (ale)
Alexander Keith (NS IPA)
Oland's schooner (lager)
I had a friend from BC.. it was the worst combination. I couldn't understand a word he said, and he couldn't understand me.. Crazy combo.
$14 GA
Crown is bad and you should feel bad.
>Why is everything so expensive in Canada?
What are you talking about? Our health care is *cough* FREE *cough*
~15 $, but but ours are 24*500 ml
Because alcohol sales in canada are controlled by the provincial governments. LCBO literallly means liquor control board of ontario...
yeah its like 28.99 for a 12, thats like 60 for a 24 - ridiculous
52.56$ up in the north, that's for cans though
because 38.50 CAD is 28.88 USD which is similar to normal price in US for 24 pack of bottles
leads to memory loss
that would cost about 6-8 euros here.
Fucking shithole we live in.
I went to Japan and "made in Canada" whisky was half the price we pay here.
Even considering tax it's significantly cheaper.
I live ~30 - 40 minutes away from the distillery.
Still costs me $28 to buy a bottle. Fuckin bullshit minimum booze prices.
IN ontario you can only buy liquor and wine from a place called 'The Liquor Control Board of Ontario" I shit you not. Who the fuck names these things
>tfw export to USA and income has gone up 35% in the last few years.
feels good man
I go to Whitehorse once in a while and you guys mostly drink in bars and clubs. But you can buy beer from the bar and take it home.
Where?
. . .
>free healthcare
That's asinine. 38 bucks for the worst America has to offer in beer. NOT only that, can legit pick up 13 pa KS for 10 bucks here because most people don't drink that shit.
2lbs of cheese for 6.75 USD?
Seems like a deal to me
wow, thats a 900g bar
it's about 6-7-8 dollars for a 400g bar of cheese here in ns depending on brand
Québec beer is a lot cheaper
(((liberals)))
Makes me sick desu..
I had a friend who died who died in a drunk accident. But that doesn't mean that alcohol is bad. I think if we fix the economy, and build pubs, then maybe people will stay where they are instead of going in the middle of no where, getting jagged af, and flipping over and nobody can contact them because their bodies freeze to death.
There are so many ways that can make liquor cheaper without causing more accidents.
Jesus. 12 packs for 10 bucks.
It's called Socialism
why would you bother with low % pisswater.
Because bullwinkle bucks are being devalued rapidly due to your country's lack of a first or second world economy. All you guys have of value to the rest of the world is natural resources. That puts you in an africa tier situation that's only propped up by the fact the US is your neighbor and doesn't want two Mexicos.
>would be under $30 in Quebec.
Import taxes and the fact that the CAD s worth less than the USD
yea one pound of block cheese in US is $4-5 for mass produce store shit
8oz of shredded cheese is about 2.50$
>not buying from your local breweries
Seriously, you will find much better beer than watery shit like Budweiser, Heineken, etc.
because when you kill your enemy they win
Up here it's 5%
19 bucks in Ukraine
FOR 1 CAN
Thanks bros.
I live in a small wine valley in the states, about an hour south of Bud's brewery. So its usually pisswater lager in the summer, bourbon and local wine the rest of the year. And a good craft brew when I really want it. We aren't out of options on good beer, its just that, plebs drink bud year-round and plebs are plentiful.
i have no idea
Are you serious? Ours cost like, 18 bucks.
