it's violent but there is very little action and the revenge plot isn't the focus at all. it's mostly about the character, exploring how he sees the world and his suffering with ptsd. the score and sound design are incredible. it's lynn ramsey, so it goes without saying, but every single shot is perfectly done. it's a complete dirgefest and often very slow, the trailer's not really that representative of it.
